Participated · Seed · Sep 2022
LUMOS, founded in 2020 and based in Sydney, pairs gig-economy riders with IoT-enabled digital billboard backpacks (Smart Bags) to deliver physical ads and enable device tracking for digital retargeting. Its proprietary LUMOS data engine enriches out-of-home ads with advanced audience analytics and digital retargeting capabilities. The company says it currently works with 20+ domestic and international brands and agencies. In August 2022 LUMOS raised an oversubscribed $800,000 pre-seed round. The startup will use the funds to scale its footprint across Australia, further develop advanced data-driven ad reporting, and roll out additional IoT-enabled ad solutions across multiple cities.

Participated · Series B · Feb 2022
JET Charge supplies, installs and operates electric vehicle charging stations and offers energy management and smart-charging technology across residential and commercial segments. The company has expanded from basic installation work to a diversified infrastructure and technology business that addresses owning, using, operating and integrating EV charging. JET Charge has grown its team from about 25 employees to almost 100 since its 2020 Series A and is hiring to build an end-to-end EV charging workforce. It plans to continue expanding in Australia and grow its presence in New Zealand while investing in R&D to develop new charging technology. The company is focused on electricity grid integration of EV charging and working with utility partners to address generation and demand as EVs increase both consumption and storage roles. JET Charge projects strong EV adoption in Australia, forecasting new EV sales rising from 2% in 2021 to over 50% by 2030.
