- Sofab Inks
Led · Seed · Jul 2026
Sofab Inks develops nanostructured materials and specialty inks—including high-performance electron transport layers such as its Tinfab material—intended to replace fullerene-based layers in perovskite solar cells. The company reported a manufacturing reliability breakthrough and a 22.3% efficiency on 30-centimeter single-junction modules using its materials. Sofab says its materials increase interface fracture energy by roughly fivefold according to a collaborating research group, and it claims commercial engagement or late-stage discussions with about 90% of the perovskite industry, naming partners such as APS, ASU, Energy Materials Corporation, Halocell, and SunXT. Spun out of the University of Louisville’s Conn Center for Renewable Energy with U.S. DOE support, Sofab plans to scale production to 1x2 meter commercial specs and expand its engineering team to manage the scale-up. The company targets markets beyond utility tandems, including automotive, space, and IoT applications where thin, flexible, and heat-sensitive substrates are required.
- Siam Digital Lending
Participated · Series A · Apr 2026
Siam Digital Lending operates an AI-first digital lending platform and has developed a proprietary agentic AI underwriting system called AiTHENA to assess credit and underwrite loans. The firm holds personal loan and nano loan licenses from the Bank of Thailand and offers mobile lending apps that have achieved over 300,000 organic downloads. Since launch, Thai customers have applied for more than 3 billion THB (~$100M) in funding through its platform. Management says AiTHENA analyzes thousands of factors to improve accuracy, speed, and cost-efficiency in lending and to expand financial inclusion. The company plans to deploy the Series A proceeds to accelerate expansion across Thailand and further scale its underwriting and product capabilities. SiamDL positions itself to capture part of Thailand's large personal-lending market, which it cites as roughly USD $20 billion annually.
- Peak Quantum
Led · Seed · Apr 2026
Founded in 2024 as a spin-off from the Walther-Meißner-Institute at the Technical University of Munich, Peak Quantum develops superconducting quantum processors designed with intrinsic error resilience at the hardware level. The company's architecture aims to reduce reliance on complex post-processing error correction by integrating error protection into the physical qubits. Peak Quantum plans to establish a European pilot manufacturing line and has been selected to operate the SUPREME pilot facility, with operations slated to begin in April 2026. Financially, the company raised €2.2 million in a pre-seed round and, together with public support including EU Chips Act funding, has amassed over €5 million in total funding. The new capital is earmarked for further qubit development and to support the pilot production line efforts. The founding team combines scientists and experienced entrepreneurs with expertise across chip design, fabrication and system integration.
