Stingray Geophysical is a Guildford, UK-based provider of Seismic Permanent Reservoir Monitoring (Seismic PRM) solutions to the upstream oil and gas industry. Its core product line focuses on Seismic PRM systems and services to monitor reservoirs over time. The company says its solutions enable oil company customers to produce more, increase reserves and reduce through-life cost and risk. Stingray completed a £3.15m funding round in May 2010. Investors in the round included existing shareholders Energy Ventures, Cody Gate Ventures, Chevron Technology Ventures and Statoil Venture, together with Magne Sveen and Martin Bett.
