- SalaryFits
Led · Equity · Dec 2019
SalaryFits is an HRtech platform that integrates payroll data with financial institutions to provide a new risk‑assessment tool for lenders. Founded in 2015 by Renato Araujo and headquartered in London, the company serves markets across Latin America, Europe, and Asia and entered India three years ago. It recently raised $5 million from Brazilian VC fund Confrapar and earlier secured $1.3 million in seed capital across two rounds from Portugal 2020 and Level39. SalaryFits says it will use the funds to expand operations in India and to scale its financial‑wellbeing solutions. The startup has partnered with fintech Wishfin to enable Wishfin to launch innovative lending products using SalaryFits' technology by next year. It also signed a strategic partnership with an unnamed HRtech player to bring its technology to over one million employees. SalaryFits provides a platform that allows financial institutions to integrate their systems with payroll information from public and private entities, creating a new risk assessment tool and enabling installment deductions directly from salaries. The platform is supported by commercial and technical teams that integrate payroll systems and offer a low-cost channel for financial institutions to reach potential clients without expensive individual sales efforts. The company said it will use newly raised funds to continue expanding operations. SalaryFits was founded by Renato Araujo and lists team members across multiple countries. The team includes Delber Lage (UK), Eduardo Maroso (Portugal), Guilherme Mota and Alvaro Amorim (India), and Moacir Giansante (Italy). The company has offices in Portugal, the UK and Italy.
