  • DayOne

    Led · Debt Financing · Aug 2026

DayOne is an APAC-based data center operator — formerly the international business unit of Chinese data center firm GDS, spun off as an independent company last year. It builds and operates hyperscale/AI-ready data center campuses across Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia (Johor), Indonesia (Batam), Japan (Tokyo), Thailand, and, as of last year, Finland (Lahti and Kouvola) — its first expansion beyond Asia. Its portfolio totals over 500MW in service/under construction plus another 500MW+ planned. Led by CEO Jamie Khoo, DayOne just closed a $2B+ Series C led by Coatue with participation from Indonesia's sovereign wealth fund (INA); prior backers include SoftBank Vision Fund, Citadel's Ken Griffin, and Baupost Group.

  • AirTrunk

    Participated · Debt Financing · Mar 2026

AirTrunk builds and operates hyperscale data centre campuses for large cloud and enterprise customers. The company is advancing its JHB2 campus in Johor Bahru, Malaysia, which it intends to design with sustainable cooling and a target PUE of 1.37 to optimise energy and water use. AirTrunk secured a major green financing facility to fund that development and described the transaction as the largest single-data-centre green finance deal in Malaysia. The firm plans to allocate some margin savings from construction to local social impact projects, including recycled water infrastructure at schools and disaster relief programs. AirTrunk positions itself as a significant issuer of sustainable finance within the global data centre industry.

  • Atome

    Led · Debt Financing · Jan 2026

Atome operates a digital financial services platform that lets consumers split purchases through buy-now-pay-later plans, access personal loans and use the Atome Card for revolving credit. The company partners with merchants across Southeast Asia to embed its payment options at checkout. In 2024 it generated US$236 million in revenue, a 63 % year-over-year jump, while gross merchandise value rose 50 % to more than US$2 billion. Management says growth accelerated in 2025, projecting annualized net revenue above US$500 million and annualized GMV of US$6 billion, with December GMV up over 70 % year-on-year. Fresh capital will be directed toward scaling operations in Singapore, Malaysia and the Philippines and expanding its BNPL, loan and card products. The platform already enjoys ongoing support from multiple regional and global banking partners.

  • BigBasket

    Led · Debt Financing · Nov 2025

Founded in 2011, BigBasket operates an inventory-led online grocery model, managing its own dark stores and delivery fleet while selling a broad catalogue that includes extensive private-label offerings. In August 2024 the company fully shifted its strategy to quick commerce, making 10-minute delivery its core value proposition. Tata Digital acquired a controlling stake in May 2021, and the business has cumulatively raised more than US$1 billion from backers such as Mirae Asset, British International Investments and Bessemer Venture Partners. Despite its scale, BigBasket’s consumer-facing arm, Innovative Retail, reported flat revenue of Rs 7,673 crore for FY 2025 while losses widened to Rs 1,850 crore, underscoring the capital-intensive nature of rapid delivery. The new funds will help expand and maintain additional dark stores, a critical infrastructure component for its 10-minute promise. Management also plans to allocate a portion of proceeds to general corporate purposes as it seeks to stabilise unit economics. Overall, BigBasket remains one of India’s most heavily funded grocery platforms but continues to prioritize growth over profitability.
