  • Inner Logic

    Participated · Seed · Jul 2026

Inner Logic develops a simulation and data platform that allows device manufacturers to design, test, and validate procedural devices across thousands of virtual patients grounded in real clinical and procedural data. The company’s infrastructure aims to shift exploratory device development from physical prototypes and cadaver labs into in silico testing to accelerate iteration and broaden patient coverage. Founders include CEO Tito Porras, MD; CTO Mathias Unberath, PhD; and Chief Robotics Officer Axel Krieger, PhD, who collectively have authored over 400 peer-reviewed publications and are named inventors on more than 40 patents. Inner Logic has demonstrated its technology by training AI in simulation for orthopedic trauma and deploying it successfully on real hardware and patient anatomy, and by completing key steps of an autonomous gallbladder removal in a live animal model. The company is positioning its platform to support the development and validation of intelligent and autonomous procedural systems as they move toward clinical deployment. The announced financial position includes an $11.5 million seed round to advance product development and scaling.

  • ViewsML

    Participated · Seed · Apr 2026

ViewsML develops an AI-driven virtual biomarker staining platform that virtualizes immunohistochemistry to deliver per-cell spatial biomarker insights from standard H&E slides. The platform is intended to preserve scarce tissue samples while accelerating research, clinical trials, and patient care. ViewsML is building a virtual biomarker library comprised of AI models that extract biomarker information directly from routine pathology images. The company has established strategic collaborations with healthcare institutions, diagnostic companies, and biopharma organizations to drive adoption across research and clinical applications. Led by CEO Kenneth To, ViewsML plans to use newly raised seed capital to commercialize the platform, expand partnerships, advance clinical validation of its virtual biomarker panels, and grow its engineering, scientific, and commercial teams.

  • Outpost Bio

    Participated · Seed · Mar 2026

Outpost Bio is building a Lab-in-the-Loop platform that marries automated experimentation with machine-learning models to unravel the complex interactions between human microbiology and health outcomes. By continuously feeding experimental data back into its algorithms, the company generates proprietary, human-derived functional datasets at scale. These models aim to aid pharmaceutical partners in lowering clinical risk, optimizing drug formulations, and bolstering regulatory submissions. Beyond pharma, the technology can evaluate how prebiotics, botanicals, and other ingredients affect microbial communities for food and consumer-health applications. The current focus is on expanding both the experimental infrastructure and the machine-learning stack to enhance model accuracy and throughput. Although still at a pre-revenue stage, the company has secured initial funding to accelerate platform development and commercial engagement with R&D teams across multiple industries.

  • Arcanna.Ai

    Participated · Seed · Dec 2023

Arcanna.ai builds a decision intelligence platform that enhances human decision-making in Security Operations Centers (SOCs) and Network Operation Centers (NOCs). The platform integrates consistent data points and incorporates human feedback into customer-owned AI models to reduce mean time to response (MTTR), decrease risk, and boost capacity to handle higher volumes of attacks. The company says its solution creates a force multiplier for security teams facing talent shortages and alert fatigue. Arcanna.ai raised $3.5M in a seed round to advance its platform and expand go-to-market capabilities. It plans to use the funding to drive research and development and accelerate progress toward autonomous decision-making in cybersecurity. The company is headquartered in New York, was founded in 2019, and is led by CEO and founder Peter Ruta; Ruta, Lucas Nelson, and John Stewart will form the company's board of directors.

  • Inverted AI

    Participated · Seed · Dec 2023

Inverted AI develops predictive human behavioral models learned from large quantities of video data and transfers those models into simulated environments to drive realistic, diverse, and reactive NPCs for ADAS and AV testing. Its ITRA (Imagining the Road Ahead) technology enables longer, more complex simulation scenarios to test systems against a full range of human road-user behaviors. The company offers API access to DRIVE (human-like NPC driving behaviors) and INITIALIZE (realistic agent placements), and is beta testing BLAME (automatic collision attribution) and SCENARIO (whole-scene scenario generation). Inverted AI says its technology reduces development costs and time by enabling diverse, realistic testing scenarios for ADAS, autonomous vehicles, and robots. The company recently launched a new site with an interactive demo and trial API key sign-up. In December 2023 it raised over $4M in seed funding to accelerate and expand its product offerings based on ITRA; the business is led by CEO Frank Wood and is based in Vancouver, BC, Canada.
