Youbetme operates a social betting app launched in January that lets users create and track friendly wagers. The product is available on iOS and via the web, with an Android app in beta testing. It does not support real-money betting; the app focuses on tracking bets among friends. The company markets itself as enabling users to "bet on anything, at any time." Youbetme participated in the DEMO conference in 2012. Angel investor Brad Stroh is joining the company's board of directors. Youbetme is a San Francisco, CA-based provider of a social betting platform. Its platform allows users to place a bet, name the stakes, and then collect from any iOS device or via the web. The service tracks opponents, bet terms, and the outcome of the bet in a few steps. The company was launched by co-founders Jason Neubauer and Justin Jarman, with Nils Lahr serving as CTO. At launch it announced partnerships with brands including NakedWines, Sports One Marketing and Tonic Nightlife Group. Youbetme raised $1.2M in seed funding from private angels.
