Management plans to expand tech capabilities and grow its B2B marketplace, targeting 10,000 B2B partners and monthly revenue of Rs 5 crore by March 2022. Founders Vatsalya Agarwal, Divyanshu Singh and Rohan Singh launched the company in July 2020 to address the fragmented SMB salon market. Glamplus plans vertical expansion of its business lines and will use new funding to enhance product and technology capabilities and support business expansion. Management has set a longer-term target to capture a substantial share of a large and growing salon market over the next 2–3 years.

Its products and ingredients carry certifications including USDA Organic, NATRUE and India Organic. The company says it is experiencing increasing global demand and high repeat transactions. With the new funding, Life & Pursuits plans to grow its product range and enhance its global footprint by launching D2C operations in the US, UK and EU, while investing in building trust and authenticity to become a market leader in organic Ayurveda beauty and wellness. The company raised $500K (around Rs 3.75 crore) in angel funding to support these initiatives.

Awign, founded in 2016 by IIT Ropar alumni including Sarthak, Gurpreet Singh and Praveen Sah, offers a platform for companies to outsource business functions to a distributed, time-bound workforce drawn largely from student communities. The company converts location-dependent tasks into project-based internship programs for UG/PG students and supplies manpower on demand for tasks such as e-KYC, merchant onboarding, customer acquisition, audits and data gathering. It is operational in 130 cities across India and serves clients in e-commerce, IT, banking, consumer food products and logistics, including Paytm, Treebo Hotels, Oyo, Quikr and Kotak. Awign competes with other outsourcing and third-party payroll providers such as The Testament. The startup plans to use new funding to improve productivity, scale outreach, engage more corporates and students, and expand operations to additional locations. Financially, the company has previously raised about Rs 90 lakh from a clutch of angel investors in August 2017 and has now received a new institutional investment.

Mate Labs is developing small, medium and big-enterprise pipelines targeting banking, financial services and insurance (BFSI) and retail sectors. The company was helped by Zeroth, a Hong Kong-based AI and ML accelerator. Financially, Mate Labs completed a seed funding round of $550,000 (Rs 4 crore) led by Omphalos Ventures. The product and go-to-market focus aim to open machine learning to non-developers and business decision-makers who lack dedicated data science teams.
