- AutoBrix
Participated · Equity · Nov 2018
AutoBrix, founded in 2018 in Bengaluru by Pratibha Shalini and Kalyandhar Vinukonda, operates an on-demand doorstep automotive service platform offering more than 200 services. The company serves over one lakh customers across seven metro cities and provides upfront, transparent pricing that is on average 30% cheaper than traditional shops and dealerships. AutoBrix has integrated AI through its acquisition of Cartisan to enable image-based damage evaluation and instant repair quotations within the app. Services include car wash, sanitization, oil changes, brakes, A/C service, periodic maintenance, and OBD2 diagnostics, all performed at the customer’s location with contactless and COVID-19 safety measures. The company aims to accelerate growth of its doorstep car service and further scale operations using recent capital. CleanseCar operates a tech-enabled auto-services platform providing daily car wash, on-demand bike repairs and roadside assistance. The company reports 20,000+ monthly subscribers and performs 500+ on-demand bike services per month; it adds a new car-wash customer roughly every nine minutes. The app includes features such as real-time car wash status, one-click renewals, online payments and easy rescheduling. CleanseCar has expanded across major Indian metros including Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Pune, Delhi and Gurgaon. Management plans to use technology and customer data to expand its service portfolio, create multiple revenue lines and scale to all metro cities. The company has set targets to wash 100,000 cars daily and deliver 25,000 on-demand bike services per month across metro cities. CleanseCar operates a mobile subscription-based car-wash and automotive-care service, charging monthly fees (₹499 for hatchbacks, ₹599 for sedans, ₹749 for SUVs) and offering services like interior vacuuming, detailing, rim dressing and a waterless wash. The company was started in March this year by Kalyandhar Vinukoda and Pratibha Shalini and is positioned as an eco-friendly solution for urban areas facing water scarcity. CleanseCar says it organised the $3 billion daily car-wash segment by standardising service and using technology to improve reliability and affordability. After an initial seed round the company grew from servicing 200 cars to over 2,000. With the fresh funding the firm aims to scale much faster and reach over 20,000 cars daily. CleanseCar is currently operational in Bengaluru and Chennai and plans to roll out services to other cities in South India within the next year.

Owned and operated by Matelabs Innovations Private Limited, Mate Labs has built Mateverse, a fully automated machine learning platform that lets data scientists and analysts build tailored machine learning and deep learning models without writing code. The startup was founded by NIT Bhopal graduates Rahul Vishwakarma and Kailash Ahirwar. Mate Labs is developing small, medium and big-enterprise pipelines targeting banking, financial services and insurance (BFSI) and retail sectors. The company was helped by Zeroth, a Hong Kong-based AI and ML accelerator. Financially, Mate Labs completed a seed funding round of $550,000 (Rs 4 crore) led by Omphalos Ventures. The product and go-to-market focus aim to open machine learning to non-developers and business decision-makers who lack dedicated data science teams.
