The company positions its product around information retrieval rather than solely speeding note-taking, distinguishing it from generic AI scribe tools. Founded in 2024 by Augusta Klingsten Peytz and Christian Houen, Aisel is collaborating with private clinics in Denmark and has research partnerships with Region H, the University of Southern Denmark, and MedTech Growth at the Technical University of Denmark. Financially, it recently closed a €1.7M pre-seed round led by Caesar Ventures, with follow-on capital from Nordic Web Ventures, LifeX, Angel Invest and returning investors Rockstart and EIFO. Aisel plans to use the proceeds to hire clinical and engineering talent and to enter the UK market prior to raising a seed round.

Visibuilt, founded in 2023, develops visiBINDER, a fermentation-produced mycelium binder designed as an alternative to fossil-derived bitumen and cement for paving and infrastructure. The company says its process can bind aggregate at near-room temperature, potentially reducing energy use and manufacturing emissions versus conventional asphalt production. Visibuilt has moved beyond the lab with industrial testing partnerships with NCC and Munck Asfalt, a strategic development partnership with Denmark’s leading concrete paver manufacturer IBF to create visiPAVER, and trials with Copenhagen Municipality. The startup is headquartered at the Alfa Laval Innovation House near Copenhagen and runs labs and pilot facilities at the Danish Technological Institute, employing roughly 18 people. Its near-term plans, supported by the €3.34 million seed raise, are to scale production capacity, validate the solution at larger scale, and expand its technical and commercial team. Visibuilt still faces regulatory hurdles, including the lack of an EU standard for non-oil asphalt binders and the need for CE marking before broader road deployment.

In its most recent fiscal year the company reported a loss of DKK 52.2 million versus a DKK 25.3 million loss the prior year.

Acodyne develops unmanned eVTOL cargo aircraft combining ducted-fan propulsion and an AI-driven autonomy stack (eTHOR, developed with DTU Compute) to enable vertical takeoff and high-speed forward flight for time-critical heavy-lift missions. The platform is modular and all-electric for the first model, designed to carry payloads of 100–500 kg with a cruise speed of about 450 km/h and a range up to 500 km, extending to roughly 1,000 km in hybrid configurations. The design includes detachable wings so the system can fit inside a standard 20-foot shipping container, and the company expects scalable architectures that could enable payloads beyond 500 kg within the next two years. Acodyne is targeting defence logistics, offshore operations, and remote and regional supply chains, with early commercial validation envisaged through defence partnerships. The founding team includes former personnel from the Danish Ministry of Defence, Scandinavian Airlines, Cobham Aerospace Communications and DTU Space, and the wider team numbers ten. The company is developing its first model (E100) with initial flight tests planned before the end of 2026 and is using its recent pre-seed funding to build prototypes and conduct mission-relevant flight testing.
