  • Kvasir Technologies

    Participated · Series A · Jun 2026

Kvasir Technologies is a DTU spin-out that has developed a patented process to convert non-edible lignin-based residues from agriculture and forestry into refined, climate-neutral fuels intended as direct replacements for conventional marine fuels. The company operates a test facility in Fredericia with up to two tonnes-per-day production capacity and plans a commercial-scale demonstration plant in Aabenraa. Kvasir recently raised €10 million in a Series A to fund scale-up and commercialisation and has secured a strategic partnership with European Energy to form KVEEN Biofuels. The technology is positioned to be used within existing ship engines and infrastructure, aiming to lower barriers to adoption in the maritime sector. Existing investors EIFO, Mærsk Growth, and Footprint Fund participated in the round alongside new investment from European Energy.

  • Vaja

    Led · Seed · Jun 2026

Vaja develops VajaTrack™, a vertical single-axis solar tracking system that the company says delivers 25–50% higher revenue versus fixed-mount installations across Europe, much of North America, and parts of Asia. The founders are Henrik Eskilsson and Anders Olsson, and the company is based in Stockholm. Vaja is positioning vertical tracking as a complement to horizontal tracking and aims to scale commercial installations beyond 30° latitude. The company is opening installation slots for 2026 and accepting reservations for agricultural projects and pilot installations with professional developers. Vaja has raised a €3.1 million seed round and, including prior equity and grants, has €6 million in total capital to date. It also receives grant support from the Swedish Energy Agency.

  • PerPlant

    Participated · Seed · May 2026

Founded in 2022 by Rasmus Emil Hansen and Sumod Nandanwar, Perplant builds a proprietary box-mounted Edge AI sensor that scans fields in real time from a tractor to enable centimetre-precise spraying. The system delivers 2–10 centimetre resolution imagery and captures photos of individual plants, which the company says supports verification for authorities, banks, and insurers. Perplant claims its technology can reduce herbicide use by up to 90% and fertiliser use by 30%, and estimates an average 200-hectare farm could see an annual profit increase of about €36,000 and recover the investment within a single season. The company reports having mapped over 200,000 hectares across Europe, creating a large precision dataset in the Nordics. Perplant currently has 15 employees and operates in Denmark, the UK, the Netherlands, Belgium, Norway, Poland, Latvia, Estonia, Lithuania, Spain, Ireland and Chile, with plans to expand to the United States, and is backed by investors including Antler and The Footprint Firm.

  • Reel Energy

    Participated · Series A · May 2026

Reel offers a commercial model built around long-term PPAs to provide predictable power prices for corporate buyers and reliable revenue streams for renewable generators. The company augments PPAs with algorithmic trading across multiple electricity markets and optimizes batteries to maximize merchant revenues. Those trading revenues are used to finance new renewable projects, supporting project economics. Reel serves customers across industries including industry, real estate, media and hospitality and already partners with German generators such as Blue Elephant Energy and greenwind. With the newly raised Series A, Reel plans to scale its Denmark-proven model into Germany and build a dedicated sales organization by the end of 2026. Investors view the company’s ability to connect the economic interests of different market participants as key to its growth in volatile markets.
