  • MANSA

    Participated · Seed · Feb 2025

Mansa offers an embedded, revolving line of credit denominated in stablecoins, allowing B2B payment platforms, virtual card providers, remittance firms and other fintechs to pre-fund and settle transactions instantly. The platform underwrites borrowers on real-time transaction data rather than collateral and sources liquidity at scale from DeFi protocols, quant funds, family offices and hedge funds. Since launching six months ago, it has financed more than $18 million in payments, processed nearly $31 million in volume and grown monthly throughput from $1.6 million in August to $11 million in January, a 37.5% compound monthly growth rate. Mansa now operates at a $240 million TPV run-rate and targets a $1 billion run-rate by year-end, claiming 0% defaults to date and 350% revenue growth over the past six months. Clients report a 30% lift in transaction volumes and a 10% revenue boost after onboarding. Co-founders CEO Mouloukou Sanoh and COO Nkiru Uwaje draw on prior experience at Adaverse, SWIFT and Dell, and have recently added senior compliance hires from HSBC and Franklin Templeton to build robust AML, KYC/KYB and blockchain analytics frameworks. Beyond lending, the company plans to layer on instant payouts, foreign-exchange services and other on-chain payment tools, positioning itself as a Stripe-like one-stop platform for emerging-market cross-border commerce.
