  • Tap Electric

    Participated · Equity · Jun 2026

Tap Electric has evolved from a payment solution for charging stations into a broader energy and charging management platform offering tools such as Tap Radar (fraud prevention for shared mobility), Prijs Intel (upfront insight into charging costs) and Power Intel (incentivizing grid-friendly charging). The company reports annual revenue growth of more than 300% over the past two years and nearly 100,000 monthly users on its platform. Tap analyzes hundreds of thousands of charging sessions to surface pricing and grid insights and says public AC charging is increasingly more expensive than home charging. Its product roadmap includes V2G, smart home charging, and open smart charging features to make charging cheaper and reduce stress on the electricity grid. Leadership quotes and investor commentary emphasize Tap's focus on aligning charging demand with available capacity to lower costs for users and infrastructure operators.

  • NOWOS

    Participated · Equity · Apr 2025

NOWOS operates repair and maintenance hubs for lithium-ion batteries, initially focusing on micro-mobility customers and fleet operators across Europe. The company repairs batteries for e-bikes, e-mopeds and kick-scooters and works with customers such as Swapfiets, Dott, Felyx, Qwic, Voi, Dance and Fifteen, as well as manufacturers NIU, Phylion, TWS and Segway-Ninebot. In 2024 it repaired 310,000 kilograms across 98 battery models — the equivalent of 90,000 batteries — and reports that more than 80% of received batteries can be repaired. NOWOS says repair is on average 55% cheaper than replacement and operates hubs in the Netherlands and France with a partner in the UK. With new funding it plans to open repair hubs in Poland in 2025 and Germany in 2026, develop a Battery Passport system, and scale repair protocols to cover more battery types. The company also intends to expand into additional sectors including material handling (forklifts, AGVs), energy storage systems, power tools and garden electronics, automated drones, robotics and medical devices.

  • autarkize

    Participated · Seed · Oct 2024

autarkize develops containerized system technology that converts biogenic residues—such as waste wood, shells, and fermentation by-products—into renewable synthesis gas (methane and hydrogen) and certified biochar. Each plant can sequester between 1,400 and 5,500 tons of CO2 annually and generate up to 10 GWh of renewable energy; systems are standardized in sea containers with capacity up to 2.5 megawatts. The produced gas is intended to substitute fossil fuels in industrial heat and steam applications, while the biochar acts as a CO2 sink and can be used in agriculture and construction. autarkize's containerized units can be integrated with existing biogas plants and industrial applications and are positioned to decarbonize local and district heating networks. The company closed a €2.3 million seed funding round to accelerate expansion, especially in biogas technology and heat and steam production. The financing and standardized, scalable systems are intended to enable large-scale launches of autarkize's solutions to create customer value and contribute to climate protection.
