Fellow offers a SaaS meeting management platform with agenda templates, action-item identification, analytics on meeting habits, and integrations with virtual meeting software for note taking. The product is aimed at helping managers run productive meetings and manage teams across hybrid work. Fellow operates a freemium model with paid tiers for additional users and organizational features. Customers named in the article include Shopify, Hopin and GoCardless, and the company said its customer list and the number of meetings hosted on the platform more than tripled over the past year. Users have recorded over 2 million meeting agendas and notes on the platform, and the company is on track to quadruple its revenue this year. Fellow intends to use new funding to accelerate product development, build infrastructure and expand sales, marketing and customer-success teams. Fellow is a feedback and productivity tool aimed at people who manage teams. Founder Aydin Mirzaee and his co‑founders began building the company in 2017 in Ottawa after identifying a gap for a manager‑specific product. The app is positioned as an equivalent tool for managers—targeting needs not fully met by Slack, Trello or Asana. Early traction included landing Shopify as one of its first customers. Fellow closed a $6.5 million seed round in June, providing early financing to support growth. Mirzaee previously founded and sold Fluidware and leveraged his network during fundraising.
