  • zkPass

    Participated · Series A · Oct 2024

zkPass builds the zkTLS oracle protocol, combining 3P-TLS and Hybrid ZK technologies to enable verifiable, privacy-preserving data sharing from HTTPS websites without OAuth. The protocol is Prover-centric and allows users to generate zero-knowledge proofs of private data in-browser within one second and selectively prove identities, financial records, healthcare information, and other sensitive data. zkPass has indexed over 200 schemas from 70+ verified web data sources and, as of October 2024, has generated more than 2 million zk attestations across categories including financial institutions, e-commerce, social media, and online education. The company positions zkTLS to bridge Web2 and Web3 and to enable large-scale private data integration for decentralized applications, with applications across AI, DePIN, DID, lending, TradFi and DeFi. The announced funding will be used to accelerate technology development and market adoption and to bring zkTLS to real-world applications. zkPass develops a privacy-preserving protocol for private data verification that lets users disclose personal data without exposing or uploading the actual documents. Its technology stack combines zero-knowledge proofs, multi-party computation, and three-party transport layer security. The company offers TransGate, which enables users to selectively and privately validate their data on any HTTPS website to the web3 world. TransGate and the protocol can cover various data types, including legal identity, financial records, healthcare information, social interactions, work experience, and education and skill certifications. zkPass raised seed funding and plans to use the proceeds to advance development of its pre-alpha testnet. The platform emphasizes secure, private verifications without sending sensitive personal data to third parties.

  • ZKX

    Participated · Equity · Jun 2024

ZKX is a decentralized exchange that makes perpetual futures trading social via PVP battles, copy trade pools and gamified competitions. The protocol leverages an appchain to deliver high scalability and high-speed APIs, combining centralized exchange efficiency with DeFi self-custody. ZKX launched its native $ZKX token on KuCoin, Gate.io and Bitget and introduced staking and an airdrop to reward users and early adopters. The token has a total supply of 100 million with 33% unlocked at launch; staking lets users earn a share of platform revenue and supports governance. The team plans to expand cross-chain interoperability and broaden presence across multiple L1 and L2 ecosystems in 2024. ZKX has raised $7.6M to date from a mix of strategic and earlier investors to accelerate protocol growth and feature rollout. ZKX builds an open-source, permissionless derivatives trading protocol on StarkNet (StarkWare’s L2) that leverages ZK rollups. The protocol aims to address DeFi challenges such as over-reliance on oracles, difficulty bootstrapping liquidity for new derivatives, and centralized listing mechanisms. ZKX plans to launch its mainnet in Q4, followed by its first product: an exchange enabling crypto derivatives trading on StarkNet with built-in rewards, liquidity provisioning, and support for complex trading strategies. The company raised $4.5M in seed funding to support further development of its core offerings, DAO funding, and continued growth of the ZKX ecosystem. ZKX was founded in 2021 and is headquartered in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Founders named in the articles are Eduard Jubany Tur, Naman Sehgal, and Vitaly Yakovlev.

  • Nubit

    Participated · Seed · Jun 2024

Nubit is developing a Bitcoin-based data availability (DA) layer designed to provide secure, scalable DA for multi-chain ecosystems. Its DA layer is intended to support applications including AI, SocialFi, and GameFi. Nubit completed an $8M seed round led by Polychain Capital, bringing its total financing to $12M. Named participants in the round include Nomad Capital, Spartan Group, L2IV, Big Brain Holdings, GCR, Protagonist, Gate Ventures, Animoca, and Mask Network. The team plans to launch an alpha testnet in June and to bring the mainnet live later this year. The company is focused on building the DA infrastructure required for broader multi-chain application support. Nubit is developing a Bitcoin-native data availability layer designed to alter transaction processing on the Bitcoin network. Its development team has proposed BRC-1310, a Bitcoin-native data availability standard. BRC-1310 includes Bitcoin-native staking, data availability sampling technology, on-Bitcoin data proofs, and a decentralized bridge. The protocol is positioned to provide native data availability and cross-chain bridging directly on Bitcoin. Nubit recently completed a $3 million Pre-Seed financing round. The fundraise provides early capital as the team advances the BRC-1310 specification and related tooling.
