The product supports multiple streaming styles and participation modes, allowing both beginners and experienced creators to engage in ways that feel natural to them. Light continually refines the service to emphasize safety, fairness, and transparent community management. The company plans to invest heavily in improving product quality, expanding features that strengthen community connections beyond basic streaming, and enhancing mechanisms that prevent trouble before it occurs. Additional capital will also support governance, internal controls, and strategic hiring to scale the organization for medium- to long-term growth. Including the latest raise, Light’s total funding has reached ¥2.15 billion, giving the team resources to accelerate product innovation and organizational expansion.

Frontier Field develops and provides 日病モバイル, a secure smartphone service for hospitals that supports staff calls and communications. The service includes integration with nurse call systems and electronic medical records to streamline workflows. Launched in 2020 to accelerate DX for physicians and nurses, the product aims to replace shrinking PHS usage and address upcoming 2024 working-hours reforms. 日病モバイル is positioned as a hub to connect medical systems, devices, and personnel rather than merely a PHS replacement. The service is currently used by about 60 hospitals and more than 20,000 healthcare workers. The company recently completed a Series C that includes debt financing and will use the proceeds to improve the convenience and value of 日病モバイル. フロンティア・フィールド operates “日病モバイル”, a secure smartphone and DX service built for hospitals that connects carrier switches to the company’s system via IP‑VPN and dedicated lines to protect patient data. The platform offers hospital-specific integrations and apps — including nurse‑call and electronic medical record linkage, emergency alerting, and multi‑vendor SIP/VoIP support — to simplify multi‑professional coordination while reducing personal data leakage risk. It is designed to replace PHS, paper, and fax workflows and to enable direct data entry in home‑visit care, eliminating double data entry. The company has deployed 日病モバイル in 19 hospitals as of March 2022 and, with Japan Hospital Association cooperation, targets about 40 hospitals by December 2022 and 300 hospitals / 60,000 lines by the end of 2024. The service emphasizes a closed network model to address hospitals’ sensitivity about Internet connectivity and offers a common authentication basis for multiple applications. The company was founded in July 2016 by Yasuyuki Sato, a former NTT Docomo and Japan Altmark executive.
