Konsileo operates a placement and e-trade platform that supports brokers in searching the whole insurance market and presenting insurers with richer client data. The platform enables brokers with different specialisms to team up, divide work and benefits, and embeds real-time compliance checking. The company focuses on mid-market advised sales for small, medium and mid-corporate businesses across sectors including construction, logistics, farming and recycling. Led by CEO John Warburton and CTO Peter Henderson, Konsileo has grown since its 2017 founding to employ 160 people across the UK. In the last 12 months the firm has placed in excess of £60 million GWP on a run-rate basis. It intends to use the new funds to continue recruiting broking professionals and to further develop its technology. Konsileo is an FCA-authorised and chartered commercial insurance broker and risk management adviser based in London, UK. The company has developed a proprietary broking platform with built-in compliance checks and policy administration that frees brokers from repetitive tasks. The platform facilitates risk capture, insight and cross-firm collaboration. Led by CEO John Warburton and CTO Peter Henderson, Konsileo raised a £4.7M Series A to support its growth. The company intends to use the funds to accelerate recruitment of UK insurance brokers and further develop its technology platform.
