Overview
GVAngels is a network of angel investors founded by former students of Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV), Brasil in 2017. The GVAngels network invests in technology startups that aim to solve inefficiencies in large markets. In these 4 years of operation, investments have already been made in 40 startups and checks have averaged from R$800,000 to R$2 million. We currently have more than 300 associates with a personal interest in investing in startups and adding knowledge with their expertise and experience through smart money to our investees. GVAngels has its roots in the School of Business Administration at FGV, where most of the associated angel investors graduated. For 11 consecutive years, the university has been considered the best think tank in Latin America and has been ranked among the best institutions in the world since 2004.

Boundless Life builds full‑service communities in attractive destinations for slow‑traveling digital‑nomad families, offering turnkey homes, co‑working hubs, education centers, and recreational spaces. Its educational offering is a Nordic Baccalaureate–inspired program (ages 1–12) modeled on the Finnish system and follows children as families move between destinations. The company handles concierge services such as visas and health insurance to reduce risks associated with uprooting families. Boundless opened its first location in Sintra, Portugal in January with 30 turnkey homes and reported fully booked first, second, and third cohorts. Proceeds from the recent raise will fund key hires and the opening of the first four locations. Founded by sisters Renata Bonaldi (engineer) and Paula Redondo (computer scientist), SleepUp offers an iOS and Android app that delivers cognitive-behavioral therapy for insomnia (CBT‑I), relaxation and meditation modules, plus telemedicine video/chat consultations and clinician dashboards. The platform is the first digital therapy for insomnia to receive Anvisa approval in Brazil and includes free and paid modules (sleep diary, clinical test, daily reports). The company integrates behavioral and clinical approaches and supports clinician monitoring via web dashboards. With a recently secured R$2 million investment, SleepUp is positioning to scale beyond direct-to-consumer access into B2B partnerships with pharma, payers and corporate health. Product roadmap includes development of algorithms, IoT sleep-monitoring integrations and artificial‑intelligence features to advance personalized and precision medicine. The startup plans internationalization efforts targeting Latin America, Europe and the United States while pursuing additional clinical and regulatory validation abroad.

With a new R$1.6 million angel investment led by GVAngels, Axxes intends to consolidate the business and continue expanding access and payment flexibility across specialties. Its stated targets include generating R$1 billion in credit opportunities and bringing roughly 2,000 additional clinics into its partner network to broaden payment options for patients.
