- Enso
Participated · Seed · Apr 2022
Enso develops an eponymous visual programming toolkit that connects components to ingest, analyze, and visualize both historical and live datasets, enabling users to build data workflows, dashboards, and full applications. Designed for self-service by business analysts yet fully extensible by data scientists and developers, the platform supports versioned, reviewable pipelines and visual error handling, and has already been piloted by banks and insurers to flag duplicate transactions and automate refunds. Distinct from tools like Tableau Prep or Alteryx, Enso is built on a custom data-processing language rather than a fixed set of hard-coded functions, allowing the community to add modules for domains such as 3D modeling, IoT signals, and sound analysis. The company plans to launch Enso Cloud, a managed SaaS version, in Q1 2023 and is investing heavily in documentation, onboarding, and an expanded library of data-processing modules. Cofounders Wojciech Danilo and Sylwia Brodacka previously built particle-simulation technology for film VFX and see parallels between that high-volume computation and enterprise data needs. Headquartered in San Francisco, the 20-person team is actively hiring. To date the company has raised $16.5 million, providing capital for product enhancement and go-to-market execution.

Alinea operates a mobile wealth-management app that combines AI-driven insights, expert-built portfolios and chat-based financial education to onboard new investors. Targeting the Gen Z demographic often ignored by traditional Wall Street firms, the SEC-registered platform positions itself as both a wealth-building tool and an entry point for financial literacy. Since launching nearly five years ago, the app has been downloaded more than two million times, demonstrating significant traction among its target audience. Users can create values-aligned portfolios while receiving personalized guidance from the platform’s AI. The company graduated from Y Combinator and is already backed by Goodwater, Harvard, and Play Ventures, indicating early institutional support. With its newest financing, Alinea plans to ramp up marketing spend to accelerate user growth and broaden distribution of its product.
- Fountain9
Participated · Seed · Jul 2021
Fountain9 develops Kronoscope, an AI-led demand sensing and inventory planning engine aimed at reducing stock waste and improving supply-chain agility. The company is focused on brands in the F&B, ecommerce, and retail sectors in India. Founders Niki Khokale and Rajas Lonkar are ex-Googlers. Fountain9 says its technology predicts short- and long-term demand to minimize stockouts and waste, addressing an estimated $260 billion of global food waste caused by poor inventory decisions. The startup plans to use new funding to enhance Kronoscope’s intelligence, strengthen product offerings, and expand into global markets. Advisors and supporters highlighted the solution’s ability to enable frequent planning and rapid adaptation to demand and supply changes.
