  • SuperK

    Led · Series B · Aug 2025

Founded in 2019 and based in Bengaluru, SuperK operates a tech-enabled grocery retail franchise model that helps small-town entrepreneurs run supermarkets. The company uses a data-driven, inventory-light approach to provide technology, procurement, intelligence, branding, and marketing at scale. Its model focuses on licensing the brand and operational tools to local operators rather than owning all storefronts directly. In FY24 SuperK reported revenue of Rs 84.5 crore (a 41% year-on-year increase) while losses rose 30% to Rs 30.67 crore; the firm had not filed its FY25 annual report at the time of the article. SuperK has raised capital in prior rounds, including a $6 million Series A led by Blume Ventures, and has raised about $24 million to date according to TheKredible. The company competes in the branded retail franchise space with players such as ApnaMart and ShopKirana (acquired by Udaan). SuperK operates walk-in, 500–1,000 sq ft franchised grocery stores carrying roughly 2,500 SKUs, focused on Tier 3–5 towns. The chain has served more than 500,000 families over the past four years across over 80 towns in Andhra Pradesh. Customers are shifting from disorganized kirana shops to branded, self-service shopping at SuperK, often using self-service for the first time. The company uses technology to collect detailed transaction-level data, track customer behavior, and tailor offers; it also gamifies and incentives store partners to promote sales practices. SuperK positions itself as providing contemporary grocery experiences and healthier, packaged staples at transparent prices. The funding will be used to hire, scale the platform, and invest in technology infrastructure to link digital-native brands with SuperK customers. SuperK operates a tech-enabled grocery retail aggregator that connects warehouses, stores, and vendors via mobile apps and enables local entrepreneurs to run mini supermarkets in Tier III–V towns. The company offers in-store tech for engagement and marketing and is launching a customer mobile app plus financial services through its stores. Founders Neeraj Menta and Anil Thontepu started SuperK in December 2019 and have spent the last 1.5 years validating and refining the operating playbook. SuperK reports positive contribution margins across its early stores and has added 20+ stores, serving 40,000+ families in the past year. The company says it has achieved 3–4x growth in sales volume in early stores and is on track to reach 70+ stores with an annual GMV of $10 million by the end of 2021. Planned uses of the new capital include expanding infrastructure, investing in logistics and tech products, and hiring talent to scale the network.

  • Introbot

    Participated · Equity · Dec 2023

Introbot is an AI-powered platform founded in 2021 that helps attendees, sponsors, speakers, organisers and community admins discover and build professional relationships at events and in closed communities. Its core product combines an AI engine that understands over 10,000 keywords and creates network graphs with a WhatsApp AI chatbot that curates recommendations and enables direct connections; organisers get a web dashboard with admin controls and analytics. The platform prioritises privacy and mutual consent for connections and also delivers event communications such as reminders and speaker details over WhatsApp. Introbot has been deployed across more than 300 B2B communities and 30,000 decision-makers, and at TechSparks 2023 it helped over 3,000 individuals discover more than 5,000 relevant peer attendees; it was named to YourStory’s Tech30 list. • BharatAgri

    Participated · Series A · Oct 2023

BharatAgri is an advisory-led e-commerce platform that helps farmers find and order input products tailored to their crops, regions, and climatic conditions. The company has developed prediction algorithms that provide personalized guidance and says the combination of advisory and e-commerce can boost output by 30%, cut costs by 10%, and double earnings. Its online store lists more than 10,000 agricultural products, including fertilizers, seeds, pesticides, insecticides, and equipment. Founded by Siddharth Dialani and Sai Gole, BharatAgri aims to increase farm yield while reducing input costs and labor requirements. The company plans to expand its e-commerce platform into new regions, strengthen its distribution network, improve last-mile delivery, and reduce turnaround time over the next 12 months. It recently raised $4.3M in an extended Series A to support these operational expansions. BharatAgri offers AI-driven agronomy services that collect over 30 data points to generate customised, year-long advisory schedules delivered as films. The platform aims to boost agricultural revenues by promoting systematic, scientific farming practices. It also operates a tailored advisory-driven e-commerce segment called Krushidukan, which the company plans to expand using fresh funding. BharatAgri says its premium advisory services cover more than 2 lakh acres and have benefited over 1 lakh farmers. The startup was founded in 2017 by Siddharth Dialani and Sai Gole and participated in the fourth cohort of the Google for Startups Accelerator India program in September 2020. BharatAgri is a Bangalore-based digital farm advisory startup that offers an app-based, AI-driven agronomy service on a paid subscription basis. Its proprietary algorithm collects data on more than 30 critical parameters to deliver customized advisory across grains, pulses, fruits, and vegetables, providing fully digital and automated services with timely insights and crop monitoring. Founded in 2017 by IIT Madras alumni Sai Gole (COO) and Siddharth Dialani (CEO), the company reports strong traction: 20x growth in paid subscription sales over the past 12 months, a 65% renewal rate, and more than 33,000 active paid users. Farmers on the platform pay on average about $8 (INR 600) per acre for a six-month subscription, and the farmer population is evenly split between horticulture and commodity crop growers. BharatAgri plans to expand its subscriber base beyond Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh, accelerate growth of its inputs marketplace, refine its technology offering, and scale aggressively in the Rabi 2021 season. The company also intends to expand into direct-to-farmer agri input supply and launch a Series B round in January 2022. BharatAgri provides personalised agriculture and farming advisory through its digital platform, including an intelligent farm advisor called Krishi Doctor. The platform offers paid subscriptions to mostly medium-to-large farmers and also monetises via transaction/listing fees from agri-input and procurement companies. The company says Krishi Doctor has helped farmers achieve over a 40% increase in yield and reduced management costs. BharatAgri reports more than 350,000 users and offers premium subscriber services such as loans, insurance, crop input access, and farm-to-market services. The startup plans to use new funds for product enhancement, growth, and expanding its footprint across India. Over the next two years it aims to scale to 5 million farmers and 500,000 premium subscribers.
