Hydrofarm is a leading independent wholesaler and manufacturer of hydroponics equipment and commercial horticultural products with a 40-year operating history. The company offers one of the largest product assortments in the industry with over 5,000 SKUs including lighting solutions, nutrients and grow media, and sells primarily through 1,500+ hydroponic and lawn & garden retailers across North America. Hydrofarm operates nine distribution centers across North America. The company completed a $55 million equity financing to provide financial flexibility to grow the business both organically and through acquisitions. Management said the capital will be used to expand distribution capabilities and to enhance product offerings and service capabilities to meet the needs of a growing customer base. Ice Mobility is a national distributor of wireless products and a provider of supply‑chain solutions to large and small retailers. The company offers planning, procurement, marketing, forward and reverse logistics, and reporting services. It is one of three authorized distributors of Verizon Wireless. Intrepid announced a $65 million debt and equity growth capital raise to support the company’s expansion. Incorporated in 2013, Ice Mobility operates distribution facilities in Chicago and Los Angeles. The business was founded by industry veterans Mike Mohr and Denise Gibson and is led by CEO Mike Mohr, who has articulated an aggressive growth plan.
