  • Poetiq

    Participated · Seed · Jan 2026

Founded in June 2025 by former Google DeepMind researchers Shumeet Baluja and Ian Fischer, Poetiq builds a meta-system that pairs with any frontier LLM—such as GPT-5.2, Gemini, Claude, or Llama—to make the underlying model learn faster, reason more deeply, and operate at lower cost. Instead of requiring thousands of fine-tuning examples, customers supply only a few hundred samples, after which Poetiq’s system spins up an agent that recursively refines itself for the target problem. The technology recently set a new state-of-the-art on the ARC-AGI-2 benchmark, achieving 75% accuracy on the public evaluation set using GPT-5.2 and eclipsing prior leaders at roughly half the cost per task. An August 2025 MIT study highlighting that 95% of enterprises see no ROI on GenAI underscores the commercial need Poetiq addresses. The company positions itself as model-agnostic, augmenting rather than competing with frontier providers, which broadens its potential customer base across diverse AI platforms and use cases. Poetiq currently employs six people and is headquartered in Mountain View, California. To date, it has secured $45.8 million in seed financing to fuel product development and commercialization.

  • Irys Insurtech

    Participated · Seed · Oct 2025

Irys Insurtech provides a core insurance operating platform that unifies financials, operations, sales, and client data in real time while communicating across third-party tools and between AIs. The system enables automation that can significantly expand a service representative’s book of business, aiming to scale capacity and profitability without adding headcount. Today, the company supports several top brokerages and MGAs that together manage nearly $1 billion in active written premium. Headquartered in Tampa, Florida, Irys plans to use new capital to grow its engineering and customer-success teams and to deepen distribution partnerships across the U.S. and Canada. The roadmap includes rolling out AI-driven modules for accounting, analytics, and submission management in early 2026. By offering a decentralized backend, open APIs, and agentic-AI facilitation, Irys positions itself as the operational hub for modern insurance enterprises.

  • Final Round AI

    Participated · Seed · Jan 2025

Final Round AI's flagship product, the Interview Copilot™, delivers real-time AI-generated answers and insights to support candidates during interviews. The company positions itself to guide job seekers through every step of the career journey, aiming to help users land roles in under 30 days. Final Round AI announced an $8 million scholarship program that refunds Pro Premium membership fees when members successfully land jobs using its tools. The company says it will use the new capital to enhance the Interview Copilot and other products, scale operations and expand its team, and pursue partnerships to unlock new revenue streams. The announcement cites broader market friction — noting it can take an average of 247 days and 294 applications to secure a role — as context for the product's mission to make transitions faster, smarter, and more equitable. Final Round AI is headquartered in San Francisco.

  • Sabanto

    Participated · Series A · Aug 2022

Sabanto develops retrofit autonomy kits that include a cloud-connected communications system, multiple GNSS receivers, and an onboard AI processing unit that can be installed in a single day to convert conventional tractors to autonomous operation. The company has expanded autonomous functionality into planting operations and announced integrations with Precision Planting® and DICKEY-john® monitoring systems to improve compatibility with existing precision-ag equipment. Sabanto emphasizes a retrofit approach that enables use of smaller-horsepower equipment, longer operating hours, and lower capital expenditures versus buying larger OEM machinery. The firm says its platform can reduce soil compaction, minimize overlaps and idle time, and improve route consistency to lower fuel use and input waste. Planned uses for the Series B include scaling commercialization and dealer networks, increasing kit production and deployment, further software and autonomy development, and beefing up customer support and field operations. The company positions its technology as enabling growers to reallocate skilled labor toward higher-value tasks while expanding operational capacity.
