Founded in 2024 in Berlin, praxipal offers Luna, an AI receptionist that answers phone calls in natural language, schedules appointments and resolves patient requests end-to-end without human intervention. Luna currently handles more than 50 % of incoming calls at client practices, giving patients 24/7 access while alleviating staffing shortages that plague over 80 % of German medical offices. The system is highly configurable and integrates with existing practice management software, allowing it to function much like a human medical assistant. By automating routine front-desk tasks, praxipal enables medical staff to concentrate on in-person patient care and reduces the number of unanswered calls.
