  • GVG Glasfaser

    Participated · Equity · Feb 2026

Founded in 2014, GVG Glasfaser develops, owns, and operates fiber-to-the-home networks, enabling high-speed internet access for residential and enterprise customers nationwide. The company reported a 70 % year-over-year increase in activated customers in the last fiscal year and now supplies more than 180,000 households and companies with fiber connectivity. Management is concentrating on ‘homes activated’ rather than ‘homes passed’, reflecting a sector-wide shift toward monetized connections. Robust, contractually secured cash flows and disciplined network roll-outs have helped the firm attract fresh funding despite a challenging market marked by high construction and financing costs. Current private-equity backer Palladio Partners continues to hold its ownership stake. The newly secured capital will support further nationwide expansion of the fiber network, positioning the company for continued customer and revenue growth.
