  • Breeze

    Led · Equity · Dec 2022

Breeze is an offline dating platform founded in 2020 by a group of former TU Delft students and led by co‑founder and CEO Joris van Doorninck. The app removes in‑app chat: after a mutual match users pick a date via a date picker and Breeze books a reservation with an affiliated hospitality partner. Both users pay a small fee for the date, which includes a first drink. The company says it has facilitated 50,000 dates and has recently become the third most downloaded dating app in the Netherlands. Breeze announced a fresh €1.3M funding round and plans to use the capital to accelerate expansion and product development. The team highlights investor experience as a strategic asset to help scale the offline‑first model.

  • Let's Enhance

    Participated · Seed · Oct 2021

Let’s Enhance develops Claid, an end-to-end automated image processing platform that uses machine learning and neural networks to edit, optimize, and deliver high-volume user-generated visuals. Claid’s API enables automated steps such as quality improvement, color and tone correction, background removal, smart compression, and content moderation parameters. The platform processes images in seconds, claims up to 10x faster throughput than classic editing companies, and can salvage up to 90% of photos typically rejected by marketplaces. Let’s Enhance says editing with Claid saves up to 90% of time, allows more images per product, improves conversion rates, and reduces traffic costs. The company launched Claid in 2021 and plans to release more content moderation features while scaling engineering and sales teams. Over the past year the team tripled and the startup crossed $1M in annual revenue.

  • Legal Nodes

    Participated · Equity · Aug 2021

Legal Nodes is a subscription-based, lawyer-on-demand platform that provides companies with virtual in-house counsel for a fixed monthly fee. The company began as a lawyer matchmaking platform but pivoted to a subscription service after finding clients were uncertain about what legal support they needed. Legal Nodes positions itself as a platform — not an attorney or law firm — with attorney-client relationships formed directly between clients and legal providers. For lawyers the platform offers an online marketplace and a dashboard to offer services remotely and manage workflows; customers can track task progress. The company sold 10 subscriptions within a week and now counts 60+ companies on board. With the new funding it plans to expand its network of legal partners to include specialists in commercial, corporate, and data protection law and aims to replace expensive in-house legal teams.
