  Hinova Pharmaceuticals, founded in 2013 and based in Chengdu, discovers, develops, and industrialises drugs targeting metabolic diseases and cancers. Its pipeline includes nine drug candidates, notably HC-1119, an innovative androgen receptor antagonist for metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer (mCRPC) now in Phase III international multi-centre trials. The company expects HC-1119 to reach the global market in 2022. Hinova said the new financing will support multi-centre clinical trials and the commercialization of its drug candidates domestically and internationally. The firm is also recruiting a chief financial officer with preferred expertise in city board biomedical listings and Hong Kong IPO experience. To date it has completed prior financings including a Series B+ in January 2020 that raised US$32 million from six institutional investors including GF Xinde Investment.

BotanoCap was founded in 2005 by professors from Ben Gurion University and is led by CEO Mr. Yigal Gezundhait. The company announced a $4.2M fundraising to support these efforts.

Financially, Kaiima completed an equity financing of more than US$65 million.
