Fluiidd, a deep-tech spin-off from the French Commissariat à l’énergie atomique et aux énergies alternatives (CEA) and based in La Ciotat, builds and markets an intelligent scanner that uncovers and anticipates otherwise invisible defects in pipes. The product combines proprietary sensors with predictive artificial-intelligence algorithms to flag upcoming failures before they occur. Following its first fund-raise, the company plans to scale its marketing and sales teams to speed up commercial rollout both across France and internationally. Funds will also support continued R&D aimed at enriching the scanner’s predictive capabilities and industrialising the production of its smart sensors. Although no revenue or user figures were disclosed, management positions the technology as a preventive-maintenance tool for industrial clients, addressing costly unplanned shutdowns. The company’s current focus is on market penetration and product industrialisation, backed by new capital from regional and angel investors.

Intella is expanding beyond transcription into audio analytics features such as summarization, sentiment analysis, topic extraction, and call scoring. The new capital will support development of end-to-end AI models localized for the MENA region. Management has made a strategic decision to relocate the company’s headquarters to Saudi Arabia to tap the kingdom’s growing tech and AI scene. The recent funding also positions Intella to broaden its regional footprint and enhance its product suite.
