- eleQtron
Participated · Series A · May 2026
Founded in 2020 as a spin-off from the University of Siegen, eleQtron develops trapped-ion quantum processors based on its proprietary MAGIC (Magnetic Gradient Induced Coupling) technology that enables microwave-based control of qubits. The company combines research-driven innovation with a stated focus on industrial scaling and commercialisation of quantum systems. eleQtron plans to scale production capacity and expand cloud-based access to its systems to support industrial deployment. Its near-term product and engineering roadmap centers on advancing its hardware platform and making systems accessible via the cloud. The company employs more than 100 people and has partnerships with leading European research and computing centres. Recent funding and grants are intended to accelerate its shift from laboratory development toward industrially usable quantum infrastructure.
- Atrya
Participated · Seed · Nov 2025
Founded in 2024 by Lorian Qorraj, Benjamin James and Julia Beermann, Atrya is building a native blockchain network for payment service providers and financial institutions. Its architecture relies on e-money tokens—created in collaboration with Dutch stablecoin issuer Quantoz—and is designed to comply with Europe’s forthcoming MiCAR regulations. The platform supports cross-border payments, agent-to-agent transfers, refinancing and e-commerce settlement, aiming to eliminate legacy intermediaries such as Visa, Mastercard, SEPA and ACH. Early pilots are already running with partners in Europe, the United States, Asia and Latin America. Management believes the market opportunity is large, noting that fewer than 0.5% of international transactions from Germany currently settle in stablecoins. Atrya is actively pursuing a MiCAR electronic-money license to bring its solution fully on-chain. The recent pre-seed financing provides initial capital to refine the product and expand regulatory and commercial partnerships.
- Bluu Seafood
Participated · Series A · Jun 2023
Bluu Seafood develops cultivated (lab-grown) fish products using stem-cell technology derived from a one-time fish biopsy that does not require killing fish. The company unveiled first products in August, including fish sticks and fish balls made from cultivated fish cells enriched with plant proteins to improve mouth-feel and cooking. Bluu was founded in Berlin in 2020 as Bluu Biosciences. The startup is focusing on regulatory approval and commercialisation, targeting Singapore (expects approval sometime in 2024), has initiated the FDA approval process, and plans to enter European markets thereafter. Financially, the company had previously raised €7.1 million and is now funded to pursue market entry and scaling. Bluu positions its products as a response to overfishing, contamination and animal-cruelty issues in seafood production. Bluu Biosciences is developing lab-grown salmon, trout and carp, with a particular focus on carp as an attractive target for large Asian markets. The company leverages immortalized fish cell lines developed by co‑founder Sebastian Rakers, who cultivated and immortalized cell lines from more than 20 fish species during research at the Fraunhofer Institute. Bluu says those immortalized cells allow vastly greater proliferation than normal cells, which the founders describe as a strong competitive advantage for scaling production. The startup plans to have a prototype product by the end of 2022 and is actively pushing for regulatory progress as one of the last obstacles to commercialization. Bluu raised €7 million in the announced financing to accelerate commercialization and to benefit from emerging technology providers in media, bioreactors and scaffolding. Founders Simon Fabich and Sebastian Rakers aim to focus on the Asian market, where shifting production behavior could have the biggest sustainability impact.
- Plancraft
Participated · Grant · Sep 2022
Plancraft develops AI-first SaaS and voice-enabled workflows aimed at making construction tradespeople’s administrative work intuitive and efficient. The company is building toward full AI automation—creating agents to handle customer interactions, generate custom quotes, and optimise operations. Its roadmap moves from voice-enabled workflows to AI agents that manage routine tasks so tradespeople can focus on building. Plancraft has expanded rapidly since its Series A in June 2024, growing its team from 40 to over 100 and establishing teams in Germany, Austria, the Netherlands, and Italy. The company positions its product as a response to Europe’s construction labour shortages, bureaucracy, and climate retrofit pressures. Financially, plancraft has secured significant investor backing and will use the new funding to hire product and AI specialists and scale across multiple countries. Plancraft is a Hamburg-based software company that digitizes work processes in the craft industry. Its platform covers invoicing, pricing, construction-site documentation, and time tracking to optimize operational workflows. The product helps craft businesses address labor shortages and increasing bureaucracy through process automation. Plancraft employs more than 40 people and serves over 10,000 customers. In June 2024 it raised €12M in a Series A to accelerate product development and expansion. The company plans to build a contractor operating system, expand beyond the DACH region, and extend its product to create additional digitalization opportunities for craft businesses. Plancraft offers a cloud-based, user-friendly web application that streamlines office work for small craft businesses—quotations, invoicing and team communication—optimized for tablets and mobile devices. The product targets the under-digitized German craft and construction trades, a market the article cites as roughly 500,000 enterprises, and aims to reduce time lost on administrative tasks. Plancraft emphasizes simplicity, no-install cloud delivery and cross-device use to enable flexible, decentralized work for chronically time-pressed craftsmen. The company charges a starting price of €29 per month and, as of the article, employs about 16 people. Founders Alexander Noll, Richard Keil and Julian Wiedenhaus started the company in 2019 in Hamburg. With the new capital the team plans to boost marketing and scale adoption across thousands of small businesses.

In development since April 2021 and launched in September 2021, Dealcode already serves clients including Casavi, Facelift and Altium. The company reported six-figure revenues within six months after launch. Dealcode has raised €1 million in pre-seed funding alongside an IFB InnoRampUp grant to support growth.
