Astracite is building carbon-negative battery anode materials that convert captured CO2 and silicon into high-performance graphite aimed at increasing lithium-ion battery energy density and reducing cost and supply-chain dependence. The team participated in Carbon13’s programme, which helped them secure investor introductions and raise an oversubscribed €750k pre-seed round.
