- BlueVoyant
Led · Series E · Nov 2023
BlueVoyant is a cloud-native, outcomes-based cybersecurity company that combines internal and external defense capabilities into a single offering. It continuously monitors networks, endpoints, attack surfaces, supply chains, and the clear, deep, and dark web for threats, leveraging machine-learning-driven automation alongside human expertise. The company serves more than 900 clients globally and is led by CEO James Rosenthal. BlueVoyant raised over $140M in a Series E and plans to use the proceeds to expand operations and its business reach. It recently acquired Conquest Cyber and is integrating Conquest’s SaaS ARMED ATK™ platform with its internal and external defense solutions to create a comprehensive cyber risk management platform. The acquisition brings Conquest’s focus on protecting critical infrastructure sectors — including the defense industrial base and state, local, and federal government — to BlueVoyant’s offerings. BlueVoyant provides a mix of proprietary technology, third-party best-in-class tools, and professional services to manage both internal and external cyber risks for enterprises. Its internal offering includes managed detection and response (MDR) toolsets and integrations with Microsoft apps, Splunk, and endpoint protections. Externally the company offers real-time supply-chain and domain monitoring that detects malicious activity affecting partner organizations and enables alerting and remediation. A professional services team complements the automated tooling to implement and operationalize defenses for customers. BlueVoyant has around 500 customers across roughly 16 industries and reports customer growth of 80%. The company plans to use the $250M to continue developing technology, expand its team, and enter new markets beyond the 50 countries where it is active today, adding two countries each quarter. BlueVoyant is a New York–based, expert-driven cybersecurity services company led by co-founder and CEO Jim Rosenthal. It offers three lines of business: Managed Security Services for 24/7 detection and response; Third-Party Cyber Risk Services for supply chain and investment portfolio defense; and Cyber Defense Services including incident response, defense assessment, brand protection and threat intelligence. The company says it enables businesses to operationalize ecosystem-scale cybersecurity effectively and efficiently. Since its inception in July 2017, BlueVoyant has expanded to more than 300 clients across four continents and 16 industries, including financial and business services, manufacturing, municipal government, healthcare and pharmaceutical, energy and utilities, and education. On July 17, 2020, it closed a $68M third funding round led by Temasek, bringing total funding to $275M to date. BlueVoyant intends to use the proceeds to accelerate growth across its three core business lines. BlueVoyant is a New York–based enterprise cybersecurity company offering managed security, professional services and threat intelligence. It builds some of its own IP and integrates software from major security partners while emphasizing implementation and operations. The company targets both small and medium enterprises—providing enterprise-grade services—and larger firms that need supplemental security expertise. Since launching managed services in 2018, BlueVoyant has acquired roughly 150 customers across financial services, manufacturing, municipal government and education. It operates in the U.S., Israel, the U.K., Spain and the Philippines. Financially, it raised an $82.5M Series B at a valuation in excess of $430M and has raised $207.5M in total to date.
- Claroty
Participated · Series E · Dec 2021
Claroty develops an industry-centric cyber-physical systems (CPS) protection platform that delivers asset visibility, exposure management, network protection, secure access, and threat detection across cloud (xDome) and on-premise (Continuous Threat Detection) deployments. In 2025 the company introduced the AI-powered CPS Library, created with Schneider Electric and Rockwell Automation, to improve asset cataloging accuracy, and it has forged strategic alliances with AWS, Google Security Operations, and Parsons' SealingTech. Claroty now serves hundreds of organizations at thousands of sites, including 24 of the Fortune 100, and was named a Leader in Gartner’s 2025 CPS Protection Platforms Magic Quadrant and Forrester’s Q3 2025 IoT Security Wave. The firm reported an 80% valuation jump since its prior financing in March 2024. Recent executive hires include former Ford AI chief Gil Gur Arie as CPO and retired U.S. Air Force Colonel Jen Sovada to head public-sector efforts. Proceeds from the latest round will fund global expansion—both organic growth and acquisitions—as Claroty pursues its goal of building the market’s most comprehensive CPS protection suite.
- Sonrai Security
Led · Series C · Oct 2021
Sonrai Security provides a cloud security platform that extends cloud security posture management (CSPM) with identity and data security, addressing CIEM, data classification, and configuration management across AWS, Azure, and GCP. Its platform uses a cloud identity graph plus best practices, workflow, advisors, and automation to help enterprises enforce least privilege, separation of duties, and data lockdown. The company highlights the complexity of public clouds and rising risks from misconfigurations and entitlement sprawl. Sonrai plans to use the new funding to accelerate research and development and expand sales and marketing globally. The Series C brings its total capital raised to $88 million. Sonrai has offices in New York and New Brunswick, Canada and is backed by ISTARI, Menlo Ventures, Polaris Partners, and TenEleven Ventures. Sonrai Security offers Sonrai Dig, an enterprise identity and data governance platform that maps every relationship between identities (people and non-people) and data across public cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, Google Cloud and Kubernetes. Dig is built on a sophisticated graph and includes a Governance Automation Engine that automates workflows, remediation, prevention, role-based access control, escalations, certifications and risk-exception handling. The platform automatically uncovers and eliminates identity, data and cloud platform risks and continuously monitors for new risks and unusual activity. Sonrai says Dig is used by a growing number of global enterprise organizations and has seen traction among large enterprises worried about cloud breaches caused by identity and data access complexity. The company will use new funding to accelerate research and development and expand global sales and marketing for Sonrai Dig. Sonrai Security has offices in New York and New Brunswick, Canada, and has raised a total of $38M to date. Sonrai Security offers a platform that discovers, classifies, maps and automates control over cloud data, placing data at the center of cloud security and bridging SecOps and DevOps teams for security, compliance and efficiency. The solution can discover and track data and users across major cloud providers including Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform, as well as third-party data stores such as MongoDB, Cassandra and MySQL. The platform emphasizes hybrid cloud visibility and automated risk mitigation. The company was co-founded in 2017 by Brendan Hannigan and Sandy Bird and is described as NYC-based, with offices in New York, Texas and New Brunswick, Canada. In January 2019 Sonrai raised $18.5M in a Series A to support growth and product development.
