Rejoni is focused on developing and commercializing gynecological products built on proprietary biomaterials, with its lead investigational product the Juveena Hydrogel System. Juveena is designed to reduce the incidence and severity of intrauterine adhesions by placing a temporary hydrogel spacer in the uterine cavity using a proprietary transcervical catheter. The product is investigational and pending U.S. FDA approval and is not available for sale. Rejoni is clinical-stage and plans to scale manufacturing, supply operations, and market-access and physician/patient engagement in preparation for commercial launch. The company was founded in June 2020 in Bedford, MA; Amar Sawhney is founder and chairman and John Nealon is CEO. Sealonix is a Bedford, MA-based biomaterials company founded in January 2023 by Amar Sawhney that is developing next-generation hemostatic sealants for surgical use. Its initial product, the PramStat patch, is designed to provide rapid hemostasis in abdominopelvic and orthopedic procedures and to bioabsorb within a week after implantation. The company leverages biomaterials expertise to create surgical sealants intended for rapid bleeding control. Sealonix intends to use the funds from its recent financing to grow its development team and execute clinical trials. Founder Amar Sawhney has previously founded Confluent Surgical, Ocular Therapeutix, Augmenix, Instylla, and Rejoni.
