Overview
Izertis Ventures is the company through which the Izertis group brings together all its assets and activities related to venture capital and startups. The platform acts as an incubator and accelerator focused on technological projects related to the information and computer sector. The company was born in 2015 and is led byPablo Martín. The Izertis Group is a technology consultant with more than 20 years old that currently provides its services in Europe and Latin America. During the last years he has experienced a great growth that has led him to position himself in the main markets and with the best clients. The main objective of Izertis Ventures is to establish an expanded innovation ecosystem for the Izertis group, where innovative projects are developed in the ICT field and that are closely related to the main activity of the group, especially in the B2B field, providing services on the Internet and SaaS technology. At the same time it constitutes a financial diversification activity, looking for considerable long-term returns. To do this, Izertis Ventures draws a mixed strategy, investing between 10,000 and 100,000 euros in each startup indirectly, through the structured vehicles in which it participates. It focuses both on startups in advanced stages of development and supporting projects in early stages through various mechanisms. The accelerator considers it essential to participate in the global entrepreneurial ecosystem and therefore tries to participate in multiple groups, associations and networks at national and international level. In addition, he considers networking and collaboration with other investors and actors a key strategy of his work. When investing, Izertis Ventures carries out an evaluation of the team and the business model. Key aspects to define your entry to the project. Although at the moment it has not signed any exit, there are many startups and projects that have their support to become large companies. Ludo Studios, WeDoctor, Nessmeeting, Mectia, Ba Lean Investment, Genial.ly, Tu Cycle, Wehey, Sibox, Bla the Ryde, Kautio, Shipeer, Fotolog, Stampy or Ask Alf are some examples.
