J&T Ventures is an early-stage Prague-based Venture Capital fund, which invests in promising startups from the CEE and SEE region. Our strategy is industry agnostic, but we primarily focus on companies in the seed stage with proven product market fit. Our average ticket size is between EUR 0.5m - EUR 2.5m.

    Wultra develops post-quantum-resistant authentication and broader digital identity software for financial institutions, spanning onboarding, identity proofing, user authentication, transaction authorisation, and electronic signatures. Founded in December 2014 by Petr Dvorak, the company grew its team by nearly 50% and now supports more than 70 clients across 25 countries, including Raiffeisen Bank International, Erste Digital, OTP Bank, and Global Payments. Wultra opened an office in Singapore in 2025 to serve as its ASEAN hub and has been named a Sample Vendor for post-quantum authentication in Gartner’s 2025 Hype Cycle for Digital Identity. Financially, the company recently raised a €6.8 million Series A after a €3 million Seed+ in January 2025, and plans to use the new capital to expand its platform, add European Digital Identity Wallet features, enter the Middle Eastern and U.S. markets, and scale its team to support larger clients.

    Grid.online operates a neutral shared courier infrastructure and API that lets multiple parcel carriers tap into a common network of flexible local couriers while keeping their own fleets, customer relationships and brands. Founded in 2025 by Ondřej Krátký and Patrik Raš, the startup scaled parcel volumes more than 10× in its first full year and surpassed one million deliveries through the network. The platform currently connects 1,000–2,000 active couriers and has several thousand more on a waiting list. Management highlights strong unit economics as the business scaled, and existing clients are deepening integrations over time. Grid.online plans to use new funding to increase network capacity and resilience and grow engineering and product automation teams, with a view to international expansion.

    Founded in 2020 and based in Košice, Definic provides a vendor intelligence platform that assesses IT vendors across thousands of data points including delivery track records, case studies, and live market pricing. Its product aims to make vendor selection more data-driven by surfacing relevant vendors and market pricing to procurement teams. Definic reports that enterprise customers have shortened tender cycles from months to weeks and reduced IT vendor expenses by as much as 20%. In a cited customer engagement with a major Central European bank, the platform helped identify more than 90 relevant vendors, cut tender time from six weeks to two, and delivered €1.2 million in savings on €5.4 million of vendor spend in the first five months of 2026. The company plans to use its new Seed funding to accelerate product development and expand into the DACH region, the UK, and the United States.

    Choice began five years ago as a platform for restaurants to communicate with customers online and has evolved into a comprehensive operating system for independent and multi-location restaurants. Its integrated product includes a website builder, commission-free takeaway and delivery ordering, QR menus/payments/ordering, reservation management with Google integration, marketplace integrations (Wolt, Bolt Food, Foodora, Glovo, Uber Eats, Just Eat Takeaway), loyalty programs, and POS/EPOS integrations, all managed from a single admin panel under one subscription. Choice serves more than 30,000 registered restaurants, with over 7,000 paying customers across nine CEE markets, and processes about 1.5 million orders per month equating to roughly 35 million in monthly GMV. The company has doubled year-over-year and is targeting 500 million in monthly turnover within the next three to four years. Choice plans to expand rapidly across Europe, starting with Portugal (supported by Alea Capital), then Spain and Italy, and later France, Germany, and the Netherlands, while investing in AI-driven product innovation and local sales/support teams.

    Prague-based ValkaAI is building a platform for fully controllable digital humans that can react to users in real time, turning traditionally passive video into an interactive medium. Founded by Vlastimil Venclík and Miloš Lokajíček and operating under Realms Group, the startup focuses first on AI commentators that analyze live sports or esports action and speak to each viewer in their preferred language. Its technology addresses common challenges in generative video such as latency, visual flicker and high compute cost, enabling scalable, personalized interactions. The company employs roughly 45 people across San Francisco, Prague and Dubai, including researchers from Meta and DeepMind. Fresh capital will fund expansion of research and product teams in the United States, Europe and the UAE, strengthen the core platform and scale computational infrastructure. Near-term goals include launching commercial pilot integrations with distribution partners in sports and esports. The recent financing is the company’s first external raise and positions it to build a globally relevant entertainment technology stack.
