The company has completed a €4 million funding round led by Catalyst Romania and backed by 3TS Capital Partners, Euroventures, North Base Media, SeedBlink and South Central Ventures. Hunch will use the capital to triple its sales team and increase marketing investments to support expansion in Europe and the U.S. It also plans to accelerate its technology roadmap to better support customers in growing revenue through personalisation. The product is positioned to help consumer-facing corporations increase interaction, conversion to revenue and lifetime value by delivering the right ad creatives at the right time.

Whoosnap operates a mobile platform that enables anyone to request a real-time picture of a specific place or event and pay geo-localized users who take and sell photos. The app is available on iOS and Android. Whoosnap has been downloaded over 80,000 times and its users have sold more than 10,000 photos. The company is led by founder and CEO Enrico Scianaro and is based in Rome, Italy. It intends to use recent funding to continue developing the platform and to expand operations. The product monetizes by enabling users to earn money from photos they take in response to requests. Whoosnap is a Rome-based developer of a mobile app that enables people to act as photoreporters by fulfilling real-time photo requests. Users can post requests with descriptions and set monetary rewards; geolocated contributors receive notifications and can take and submit images. Requesters can choose and purchase images and transfer the reward to the author. The company plans to launch iOS and Android versions of the app within July. Whoosnap was part of the 5th batch of LUISS ENLABS and is led by founder and CEO Enrico Scianaro. It intends to use the recent funding to continue developing the platform.
