- Turbine
Led · Series B · Feb 2026
Turbine’s core product is a foundational virtual cell model that, together with a lab-in-the-loop data engine, creates digital twins of wet-lab assays. Researchers use these virtual assays through Turbine’s no-code Virtual Lab to run millions of in-silico experiments, identifying disease drivers and optimal therapeutic combinations far faster than physical labs allow. The platform has already supported more than 30 discovery programs for biopharma partners such as MSD (Merck & Co.), AstraZeneca and Bayer. Previously focused on oncology, the company is now expanding into immunology via a newly announced collaboration with an unnamed top-10 pharmaceutical firm that will supply proprietary immune-cell datasets. The fresh capital will fund the virtualization of additional assay types across discovery and translational medicine, further fine-tuning the platform to new tissues. Turbine is backed by prominent tech and life-sciences investors including Accel and MSD Global Health Innovation and operates from hubs in London and Budapest.

The startup plans to refine the product based on user feedback and to embed AI-enabled functions to further democratise data storytelling. The company raised $1.5 million to support the product rollout and continued development.
- scoutlabs
Participated · Equity · Jun 2024
Scoutlabs develops affordable, AI-powered digital insect monitoring aimed at giving farmers precise, field-level insights to combat pests sustainably. The company is building a dense network of digital traps to track insect migration and swarming and uses AI to identify pest insects affecting crops. Co-founded by farmers Jimmy Fong and Donat Posta and formerly known as Smapp Lab, Scoutlabs intends to turn field data into a decision-making co-pilot that replaces guesswork. Its product targets reduced pesticide waste and improved food security while enabling potential data monetization and upselling. The startup has secured initial funding to support scaling and expansion into new markets, including the U.S.
- Mitzu Inc
Participated · Seed · Sep 2023
Mitzu develops a product-and-data-analysis platform that connects directly to customers' cloud-hosted data warehouses instead of copying data, aiming to provide more and better-quality data while reducing security risks and costs. The interface is designed for non-technical users across management, product, marketing and sales and can be integrated in about five minutes without coding. Founder István Mészáros, a technologist, has converted early traction into one paying customer (Shapr3D) and several pilot projects including Colossyan and Click n' Cruise. The company positions itself to save clients substantial analytics costs that can otherwise reach about €50k per year and to prevent data loss during copies. Mitzu's immediate priorities are commercialisation and learning repeatable sales processes; the team plans to use the recent funding mainly for wages and operating costs while hiring only a few freelancers initially. The startup currently has minimal revenue and aims to increase it fiftyfold over the next year and to raise another round to accelerate growth.
