Moments Lab offers an AI-powered media asset management platform that automatically indexes, searches, and repurposes large video libraries to turn archives into monetisable content. Its flagship engine, MXT, is a multimodal AI that parses video into scenes and identifies people, places, actions, and shot types. The company is building agentic AI capabilities to generate rough cuts, assist in story creation, and pull insights with minimal human prompting. Clients cited in the articles include Thomson Reuters, Sinclair, Hearst, Amazon Ads, and Banijay. The startup plans to use the new funding to expand into the U.S. and accelerate development and rollout of its next‑generation AI tools for video discovery. Management frames the product as a way to enable teams to search thousands of hours of footage and glean insights in seconds. Newsbridge is a French AI and cloud media company that provides a multimodal AI platform to index, archive and manage video, photo, and audio assets for broadcasters, sports rights-holders and brands. Its platform merges detection results from face, text, objects, patterns and transcription to produce rich metadata and more accurate search results. Customers cited include Bayer Leverkusen, Olympique de Marseille, German public broadcaster SWR and media company Brut. The company says it has more than doubled its recurring revenue in the last 12 months. Following the raise it plans to open its first U.S. office in New York, strengthen operations in Europe and the Middle East with dedicated regional managers, and hire additional AI and media engineering talent. Newsbridge also aims to reduce AI-powered media processing energy use by 90% over the next two years from current levels of up to 450 watt‑hours per hour. Newsbridge is a Paris-based media platform that uses artificial intelligence — including computer vision, deep learning and cognitive tech — to help media and sports rights-holders auto-index, manage and monetise large volumes of audiovisual content. The company has recently added clients including TF1 Group and the French Federation of Football, and signed Asharq News (which has an exclusive content agreement with Bloomberg Media). Newsbridge was co-founded in 2016 by Frédéric and Philippe Petitpont. The startup achieved product-market fit over the past year amid accelerated digital transformation during the pandemic and expanded its client portfolio. The recent financing is intended to fund deep tech R&D and to scale the company’s international expansion efforts. Newsbridge combines artificial intelligence, cognitive technologies and broadcast expertise to enable faster production of relevant video content for journalists, production companies and rights holders. Co-founded in 2016 by Frederic and Philippe Petitpont and based in Paris, the company’s AI engine detects entities (objects, characters, situations) in real time using contextual and multimodal analysis. The technology cross-references information and metadata from different sources to deliver performance gains and is deployed by sports rights holders (adidas, the Evian Championship, the French Rugby Federation) and broadcasters (France Télévisions, M6 Group, TF1 Group). Newsbridge is already processing several thousand hours of content each month for major European publishers. The team comprises 14 people, including eight doctors and engineers. The company raised funds to strengthen the team, accelerate commercial expansion across Europe and develop its R&D activity.

iFAST Diagnostics is developing the iFAST One, an ultra-rapid antimicrobial susceptibility test system that leverages impedance flow cytometry to measure electrical properties of bacteria from positive blood culture samples. The platform can provide AST results in less than three hours and is priced comparably to the standard of care. The company received the UK Conformity Assessed (UKCA) mark for the system earlier this year. To support commercialization, iFAST closed a £5 million financing round and obtained a £2.1 million non-dilutive loan from Innovate UK. The new funding is earmarked to expand UK rollout, pursue EU regulatory approval, and accelerate regulatory and clinical programs in the US.
