- Inarix
Participated · Seed · Feb 2023
Inarix provides an AI-powered crop analysis platform that lets users take a picture of their crops with a smartphone to get real-time, multicriteria crop qualification results. Launched in 2018 by Pierre Chapelle and based in Paris, the product replaces time-consuming actions from several machines with a single fast smartphone-based measurement. Today the platform analyzes two main crops—barley and soft wheat—and the company reports a user base of more than 400 users in France. Inarix plans to nearly double its crop analysis capabilities and add new crops including corn, soybeans and coffee within the next 6–12 months. The company intends to use recent funding to scale its technology, grow its team, and pave the way for expansion into new markets including the United States. The recent fundraise supports these operational and expansion plans.

Consentio operates a web and app-based hortofructicultural marketplace launched in Barcelona to digitalize the food supply chain and optimize sales between producers, wholesalers and supermarkets. The platform aims to consolidate commercial relationships, increase sales, manage orders transparently and minimize errors to help reduce food waste. Consentio reports roughly 7,000 members and 145,000 product references on its online portal, and says it has tripled orders to a volume of 140 million over the past year. The company intends to expand its business in Spain, the U.S., France and the Netherlands and plans to grow headcount by 50%. Vincent Rosso, a French entrepreneur and BlaBlaCar cofounder, is CEO of Consentio and emphasizes sustainability and waste reduction as core priorities. Consentio is a technology platform for the fruits-and-vegetables supply chain that lets producers, retailers, cooperatives and wholesalers create product lists, share them, and manage orders from mobile or desktop. The platform hosts more than 25,000 product references and about 2,500 registered companies across more than 45 countries, with nearly half from Spain. Consentio reports a monthly growth rate of 14% and claims customers can achieve 25–35% higher selling efficiency while halving administrative tasks. The company was founded in 2017, employs a 14-person team and maintains offices in Mercabarna (Barcelona) and Madrid. The new €1.1M financing will be used to strengthen the technology team, consolidate growth in Spain and France, and expand into the Netherlands. Since inception Consentio has raised a total of €2.0M.
