  • T2

    Participated · Series B · Jul 2026

T2 develops and operates autonomous driving trucks for long-distance trunk transportation, currently running commercial operations with its self-developed Level 2 trucks. The company is conducting safety verification using formal methods and has demonstrated roughly 500 km of non-steering driving on highways including toll-booth passages. From 2024 demonstrations, it has transported cargo for over 50 partner companies, and commercial operations that began July 1 last year have expanded to 23 customer companies. T2 plans to deploy Level 4 trunk transportation services from fiscal year 2027 and is building driver-switching hubs called “Transgate” near Ayase, Kobe, and Nishinomiya by spring 2026. Financially, the company has raised over ¥16.5 billion to date, including the ¥5 billion first close of its Series B, and says it will use the new proceeds to accelerate its business and technology development toward Level 4.

  • JPYC

    Participated · Series B · May 2026

JPYC issues Japanese yen–pegged stablecoins and operates issuance and settlement services for those tokens. The company has been actively raising capital, recently completing an additional close of its Series B that increased cumulative Series B proceeds to about $29.62M. Investors in the recent tranche include a mix of venture funds and financial institutions such as Metaplanet, NCB Venture Capital, Hokuyo Bank and Yokohama Capital. JPYC plans to deploy the new funds toward system and application development, hiring, its stablecoin issuance and settlement operations, and strategic investments. Metaplanet previously announced a planned investment of up to ¥400 million earlier in the year. The articles do not disclose revenue, users, or other operating metrics.

  • Orosy

    Participated · Series A · Feb 2024

orosy runs a B2B wholesale marketplace that links small-scale manufacturers in Asia and Japan to individual stores, retailers, and e-commerce merchants around the world. The platform assumes financial and inventory risk for wholesale transactions, offering services such as 90-day post-pay, returnable unsold inventory, and effectively free shipping. Over 6,000 brands and local stores use orosy’s domestic service, and the company handles overseas sales logistics so manufacturers only need to deliver to orosy’s Tokyo (Nihonbashi) warehouse. The company has begun building an overseas team (including members based in Jamaica and Kazakhstan) to expand sales to buyers in the U.S. and Europe. Proceeds from the recent fundraise will be used to hire engineers and business staff, strengthen domestic operations, launch multiple products around wholesale and peripheral services, and grow a machine-learning function for matching, credit management, and demand-supply balance. Cumulatively the company has raised ¥640 million to date.
