- Discovered Materials
Led · Seed · Aug 2026
Discovered Materials operates a software pipeline that uses Anthropic foundational models in a custom harness to generate material leads and proprietary physics models to simulate and verify candidates. The team has published examples of hundreds of candidate materials and released a Material Discovery Bench to evaluate how frontier models tackle the problem. Founders Advaith Sridhar and Akash Ramdas combine expertise in AI agents and materials science; Ramdas holds a doctorate in materials science and Sridhar previously worked on agents at Persona AI and Luma Labs. The company focuses specifically on thermal problems in semiconductors and aims to identify materials that reduce heat generation or improve dissipation for GPUs and other chips. When promising candidates are found, Discovered Materials plans to patent either the material uses or manufacturing processes and license them to chipmakers. The startup recognizes that manufacturability and wet-lab synthesis are significant challenges and intends to run rapid lab experiments to validate leads.
- MittiLabs
Participated · Series A · Aug 2026
Mitti Labs combines SAR satellite imagery, proprietary field datasets, and AI to create digital twins of individual rice fields that monitor crop conditions, water use, and methane emissions. Since launching its first programs in 2023, the startup grew from working with about 8,000 farmers in its first season to more than 100,000 in the following season and now employs over 150 people. Mitti Labs generates revenue from carbon credits and its GeoAI platform and counts customers such as carbon marketplace Cool Effect, rice producer Ebro Foods, and Syngenta. The company says its programs enable farmers to cut water use by about 40% and reduce methane emissions by more than 50% without affecting yields while creating additional income through carbon credits. With the new funding, Mitti Labs plans to expand into the Philippines later in the year and to Indonesia and other Southeast Asian markets in 2027 to serve compliance carbon markets and broaden its data generation across different ecosystems.
- Fixxly
Participated · Seed · Jul 2026
Founded in 2026 by Shezan Bhojani and Sachith Varma, Fixxly is building an AI-powered quick commerce platform for building materials such as plywood, paint, electricals, lighting, hardware and plumbing supplies. The platform serves contractors, electricians, plumbers, carpenters, painters, interior designers and homeowners and promises deliveries in as little as 30 minutes. Fixxly operates an AI-powered supply network that fulfills orders through a network of local dark stores by matching real-time inventory, proximity and demand. The company plans to launch commercially on September 1, initially in Bengaluru, with expansion to other cities planned thereafter. The startup raised $5.5 million in seed funding to strengthen its technology and scale operations ahead of launch. The founders bring relevant category experience: Bhojani co-founded DesignCafe (which merged with HomeLane in 2024) and Varma led supply chain design at Zepto and last-mile operations at Flipkart.
- Oolka
Participated · Series A · Jun 2026
Founded in 2024 by Utkrishta Kumar (formerly chief experience officer at Meesho), Oolka builds an agentic AI platform that both diagnoses a user’s financial situation and, with consent, takes personalised actions on their behalf. Its multi-agent system monitors repayment schedules, spending patterns and credit utilisation to nudge users toward better habits, automate timely payments, and optimise credit card use. The company is developing what it calls India’s first AI-native consumer app for credit and focuses on hyper-personalised user experiences. Oolka is targeting younger borrowers—Gen Z and millennials—who account for a large share of active credit-score trackers in India. Financially, this funding round follows a $7 million seed raised from Lightspeed, Z47, 8i Ventures and angel investors.
