Huddle01 is building a decentralized real-time communications network (dRTC) on Arbitrum Orbit with Caldera integration, targeted at gaming, social apps, AI, metaverses, and general video conferencing. Its product suite includes Huddle01 Meet for video calls, Huddle Cloud for low-cost real-time infrastructure, Farhouse for spaces and streams, and HuddlePad, a token-launch platform that uses Uniswap’s Continuous Clearing Auction (CCA) mechanism. The testnet has processed more than 3.3 million transactions, logged over 1.2 billion meeting minutes, attracted 170,000–204,000 active users, and driven 100,000+ mobile app downloads. In production, the network has delivered 840+ million minutes of service and supports thousands of community-run nodes. Huddle01 plans to launch its mainnet and conduct a Token Generation Event (TGE) for its native $HUDL token in Q1 2026, allocating 21% of the TGE supply to node operators. A current public sale is offering 10% of the 200 million-token supply via CCA at a floor price of 0.1 USDC, with a five-day auction window. The company recently strengthened its balance sheet with a $6.6 million capital infusion from prominent crypto investors and angels.

Optimum is building a decentralized memory layer for blockchains to make data storage, access and propagation faster, cheaper and more decentralized. Its core innovation is a decentralized coding method called Random Linear Network Coding (RLNC), developed by MIT professor Muriel Médard. The company invited creators from institutions like Harvard and MIT to transition from academia into the commercial crypto arena. Optimum's memory infrastructure targets inefficiencies such as redundant gossip networks, congested mempools and bloated nodes that make retrieval costly and slow. The offering is live on a private testnet and Optimum is inviting L1s, L2s, validators and node operators to try its memory layer. Optimum raised an $11 million seed round to advance its technology.

Union Labs develops a modular, zero-knowledge (ZK) interoperability layer designed to ease movement of assets between the Ethereum and Cosmos ecosystems. The firm plans its mainnet to go live in early 2025. It has begun integrating with Polygon’s AggLayer to deepen links between Polygon and Cosmos’ IBC, and is exploring ways to build secure links into the Bitcoin ecosystem and Bitcoin L2s. Union says it aims to address Bitcoin’s scripting limitations to enable secure asset transfers and enhance DeFi on Bitcoin. Financially, Union raised $14 million in a Series A after a $4 million seed last year to expand its core team, advance partner integrations, and contribute to ecosystem growth. Founder Karel Kubat framed the raise as reflective of the team’s dedication to reducing fragmentation and bringing secure, sovereign, and seamless interoperability to Web3.

Fermah operates a marketplace-style universal proof generation layer that aggregates GPU and FPGA suppliers to generate zero-knowledge proofs across use cases such as ZK rollups, bridges, coprocessors, ZKML, and ZKFHE. The platform is architected to support all proof systems, including zkVMs, zkEVMs, and Groth16, and is optimized to reduce the cost and latency of proof generation. By aggregating demand and enabling suppliers to leverage economies of scale, Fermah aims to lower per-proof costs and broaden the set of practical ZK use cases. The company cites several technical breakthroughs that enable what it describes as the first efficient marketplace for ZK proof generation. Fermah plans to use the new funding for product development and team expansion and is currently hiring for multiple key roles. The company was founded by Vanishree Rao, a cryptographer with a PhD in Cryptography from UCLA and former Lead Cryptographer at O(1) Labs.
