  • Hemispheric

    Participated · Equity · Jul 2026

Hemispheric developed Descartes, a 6-billion-parameter NeuroAI foundation model trained on a proprietary multimodal EEG and behavioral dataset of more than 250,000 hours from over 100,000 participants. Descartes is designed to translate brain electrical activity into objective measures that can detect disease earlier, distinguish disorder subtypes, and guide treatment selection. The company deploys a lightweight dry EEG headset worn for about 15 minutes while users interact with an app to capture brain activity without surgery or lengthy protocols. Hemispheric has built dedicated data-collection labs and model-training infrastructure and demonstrated its platform to the FDA's Center for Devices and Radiological Health while pursuing a broad regulatory strategy. Its initial clinical applications target conditions including PTSD, mTBI, depression, anxiety, schizophrenia, and Alzheimer’s disease. The company has a 112-person interdisciplinary team and announced a $52 million early-stage financing to accelerate deployment, grow its data network, and advance regulatory and commercial efforts.

  • Neurosoft Bioelectronics

    Participated · Seed · May 2026

Neurosoft Bioelectronics develops a platform of minimally invasive brain-computer interfaces intended to access the full cortex without penetrating brain tissue using proprietary soft and stretchable electrodes. The company’s technology is engineered to be significantly more compliant than conventional neural interfaces to enable broader cortical coverage via minimally invasive procedures. Neurosoft has tested its devices in 10 patients across two ongoing clinical trials at UTHealth Houston and UMC Utrecht, including a 64-channel soft brain interface study for epilepsy surgery guidance. Its IP and scientific footprint include more than 25 patents and over 25 peer-reviewed publications. The firm aims to build a large-scale neural data platform to support foundation models of the human cortex and to improve performance of invasive and non-invasive BCIs. With over $20 million raised to date, Neurosoft plans to use new funding to advance clinical demonstrations and move toward U.S. commercialization of its first brain interface product.

  • Akave

    Participated · Seed · Mar 2026

Akave is a decentralized cloud storage solution provider whose flagship offering, Akave Cloud, is built on the Avalanche Layer-1 blockchain. The platform is engineered to handle large-scale, data-intensive artificial intelligence and analytics workloads, giving enterprises a transparent, redundant, and censorship-resistant alternative to traditional cloud services. By leveraging both Avalanche and the broader Filecoin ecosystem, the company seeks to blend blockchain security with scalable storage performance. Newly secured capital will be deployed to expand sales and marketing activities, signaling an emphasis on accelerating customer acquisition and market presence. Although specific revenue, user count, or other operating metrics were not disclosed, the seed round positions the firm for early-stage commercialization. Looking ahead, Akave plans to deepen enterprise integrations and broaden adoption within AI and data-analytics sectors.

  • Blockcast

    Participated · Seed · Feb 2026

Blockcast is building a blockchain-based CDN that combines broadcast data-transfer techniques with Solana’s infrastructure to alleviate growing internet-traffic bottlenecks. The network is now running a six-month “Proof of Resources Epoch,” during which operators can launch lightweight Beacon nodes in Docker containers and earn rewards proportionate to uptime, outbound bandwidth, and hardware performance. High-performing node operators will receive special NFTs, while all participants accrue points that can later convert into a token drop at the project’s token-generation event (TGE). Node setup is intentionally lightweight, requiring only basic Linux hardware and a multicast-compatible IP for bonus points. A web dashboard lets operators register nodes, monitor health status, and track rewards, with the first connection test after six hours and initial payouts after 24 hours of continuous operation. To fund development, Blockcast has secured a $2.85 million seed round. No revenue or user figures have been disclosed, underscoring the project’s early-stage status.

  • Huddle01

    Participated · Equity · Feb 2026

Huddle01 is building a decentralized real-time communications network (dRTC) on Arbitrum Orbit with Caldera integration, targeted at gaming, social apps, AI, metaverses, and general video conferencing. Its product suite includes Huddle01 Meet for video calls, Huddle Cloud for low-cost real-time infrastructure, Farhouse for spaces and streams, and HuddlePad, a token-launch platform that uses Uniswap’s Continuous Clearing Auction (CCA) mechanism. The testnet has processed more than 3.3 million transactions, logged over 1.2 billion meeting minutes, attracted 170,000–204,000 active users, and driven 100,000+ mobile app downloads. In production, the network has delivered 840+ million minutes of service and supports thousands of community-run nodes. Huddle01 plans to launch its mainnet and conduct a Token Generation Event (TGE) for its native $HUDL token in Q1 2026, allocating 21% of the TGE supply to node operators. A current public sale is offering 10% of the 200 million-token supply via CCA at a floor price of 0.1 USDC, with a five-day auction window. The company recently strengthened its balance sheet with a $6.6 million capital infusion from prominent crypto investors and angels.
