Wolo operates a digital platform that simplifies and secures long-term residential rentals, aiming to improve the renting experience for owners and tenants. The company plans to use new capital to accelerate growth, develop specialized technology, and introduce new lines of business and services. Management targets surpassing 100,000 rentals under management within five years while maintaining annual growth above 100% from a position of profitability. Wolo doubled its revenue in 2023 and completed more than 2,000 rentals in the past two years with a near 0% default rate. The platform emphasizes security and a streamlined experience for property owners and tenants. The company describes itself as the first digital specialist in long-term rentals and intends to consolidate market leadership with the fresh funding. Wolo is a Barcelona-based digital platform specialized in the rental housing market. The platform offers an end-to-end rental service accessible from any device, enabling publication of listings and photos, coordination of visits, property valuation, trend and performance analytics, and recommendations. It also supports online tracking of payments, contracts, documentation, insurance and household services such as electricity and water. Wolo aims to transform the traditional rental process into a comfortable, transparent experience that can be managed from any device, according to director Oriol Sanleandro. The platform was launched at the end of 2019 with backing from 101 Ventures, Guinot Prunera and business angels, and Guinot Prunera is a strategic partner in its digitalization efforts. Financially, Wolo has received €570,000 to date, including an initial €320,000 at launch and a subsequent €250,000 capital injection.
