- Kadence
Participated · Series A · Oct 2025
Kadence provides a workplace operations platform designed to help enterprises coordinate people and spaces through a single system that combines space management, team scheduling, occupancy insights, and AI-powered automation. The company’s software delivers real-time data and tools that enable organizations to optimize how offices are used and how teams collaborate. In October 2025 Kadence launched SpaceOps, an AI-driven module that lets enterprises model, test, and execute space decisions rapidly. SpaceOps offers scenario planning to forecast costs and capacity, intelligent move-management to orchestrate relocations, and dynamic stack planning with drag-and-drop floor-plan layouts. These features aim to reduce disruption, improve efficiency, and provide financial clarity before changes are made. Fresh capital will be directed toward expanding operations and accelerating product development. The article did not disclose revenue, user numbers, or other operating metrics.
- Vizgard
Participated · Equity · Jan 2025
Vizgard develops FortifAI, a distributed visual AI platform that automates cameras, counter-drone systems, and unmanned vehicles by running low-power edge processors for real-time threat detection and autonomous camera control. The platform combines field-proven computer vision with deep-learning models and includes a proprietary Behaviour Risk Index that produces an explainable danger probability score while automatically blurring faces to protect privacy. FortifAI is designed to reduce operator workload, enable faster responses, and detect complex safety events such as attacks or people at risk of self-harm. Founded in early 2021 by former Royal Navy submariner Alex Kehoe, Vizgard is veteran-founded and multi-award-winning. The company has secured contracts with the UK Ministry of Defence, HMGCC Co-Creation, several defence technology firms, a major UK transport organisation, Sesanti, and multiple national-remit police departments. Vizgard is also part of a €14.2m Innovate UK consortium led by Altitude Angel to develop a 165-mile drone superhighway and holds a UK Home Office contract to build a portable knife-detection solution. The company raised €1.7 million to scale engineering and business development and to establish international distribution to accelerate growth.
