Combinder is a community-driven DePIN that transforms everyday electrical devices into active participants in the energy market by connecting rooftop solar, HVAC systems, EV chargers, and other devices. Its user-friendly app and $BIND token let participants earn rewards for sharing energy use data and adjusting consumption to help offset high-demand periods. Energy service providers can access a standardized API to streamline demand response, build virtual power plants, and enable peer-to-peer energy trading. The project is building on peaq, the layer-1 for the Machine Economy, and its open beta has enlisted 3,000 participants alongside nine B2B partnerships across smart hardware, virtual power plants, and carbon finance. Combinder closed a $500,000 Pre-Seed round at a $10 million valuation. With the new capital the company plans to accelerate development and expand its network by enhancing the Combinder API to support more device manufacturers and energy asset types.
