Cerberus Interactive is an Austin, Texas-based game development studio co-founded by Sami Khan and Beau Button. The studio follows a marketing-first approach to reduce development risk by using proven digital marketing techniques and community engagement to validate demand before investing in R&D. Its flagship title, Atlas Empires, is available in select markets and was scheduled for a global launch in November 2019. The company closed a $1.75M funding round and intends to use the proceeds to further develop Atlas Empires. Founders' backgrounds include Sami Khan (strategic growth leader for Acorns and Honey) and Beau Button (co-founder and CTO, and former COO and partner of an INC5000 company).

MAX offers an enterprise-grade ads management platform that enables mobile publishers to run RTB auctions, connect SDK networks and demand partners, and move beyond static waterfall systems. The platform surfaces real-time CPM bids to increase competition and publisher yields while enabling direct, low-fee commercial relationships with buyers. MAX integrates alongside existing ad stacks so publishers can generate incremental revenue without disrupting current infrastructure. The company says the platform is generally available and is already working with publishers such as The Meet Group, TheChive, Timehop, and Grindr, plus more than 25 major buyers. MAX was founded in 2017 by a team of former MoPub contributors and is led by CEO Dan Sack. The company raised a $3.5M seed round and will use the funding to grow its team and accelerate adoption of the platform.
