- BintanGO
Participated · Seed · Apr 2022
BintanGo offers tools and services for digital content creators, including productivity and monetization features and financial assistance to creators. The company says it has onboarded more than 75,000 creators since launching in September 2021. Over the past 12 months those creators received more than US $2.3 million in platform payments. With its latest funding, BintanGo intends to expand its services to live commerce platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, Shopee, and YouTube. The company highlights a local live-commerce ecosystem, noting Central Jakarta hosts 15 live commerce studios. Its product roadmap centers on enabling creators and studios to conduct live commerce and capture monetization opportunities on major social and e-commerce platforms. BintanGO offers creators a suite of monetization tools including CreatorSpace for managing brand collaborations, a marketplace for verified creators, and a video shout-out app similar to Cameo. The platform also provides invoicing, business-management tools and invoice-financing/early-payment solutions to address long payment cycles. CEO Jason Lee co-founded the company with Oktorika Mandasari and says BintanGO aims to help creators consolidate income streams and access financing normally unavailable to informal workers. The company monetizes via platform fees ranging from 1% to 5% depending on the service. BintanGO reported onboarding about 10,000 creators in the past month, with creators earning almost $150,000 over the previous three months. Its stated goal is to solve invoicing, payment timing and financing challenges for Indonesian creators.
- Spleet

Spleet operates a platform that lists landlord properties and offers subscription-based rent-management services and a rent-financing product to enable flexible payment schedules. Its flagship BNPL product, Rent Now, Pay Later, offers no-collateral loans up to ₦3 million (about $6,000) at roughly 3.5% monthly interest and was beta-tested with a one-month down payment and the company financing the remaining 11 months. The company has also launched Collect, which automatically receives rent on landlords' behalf, and Verify, a tenant background-check tool. Since launch Spleet has processed over $3.5 million in rent, onboarded more than 35 individual and corporate landlords, recorded over 1,000 housed tenants and logged over 68,000 unfulfilled requests; average customer lifetime is 26 months. During Rent Now beta the nonperforming loans ratio was 1.2%. The company plans to scale its residential rent management and financing products and to test new markets early next year, and it intends to build a rent-data repository to help customers access other financial services. Spleet is a Nigerian prop-tech startup focused on building financial services solutions for landlords and tenants across Africa. The company plans features including tenant vetting, payment automation for landlords, and a rent-now-pay-later option for tenants. CEO Tola Adesanmi acknowledged Spleet’s initial housing marketplace did not address affordability and said the rent-now-pay-later product would help plug that gap. The firm’s stated mission is to make housing easier in Africa, though its current solution is targeted at the premium end of the market. The article does not disclose operating metrics such as revenue or user counts. Spleet announced a $625k pre-seed raise led by MetaProp VC.
- Boson Protocol
Participated · Equity · Mar 2021
Boson Protocol is a London, UK–based project established in 2019 by Justin Banon that is developing a capture-resistant dCommerce ecosystem using NFTs encoded with game theory. It is advancing a decentralized autonomous network to coordinate commerce transactions with minimized arbitration and to create an equitable Web3 marketplace for commerce data. Once live, Boson’s solution will enable users to exchange digital assets for real-world items without monopolistic intermediaries capturing value or hoarding customer data. The project closed funding rounds totaling $10M prior to its public sale. The funds will be used to grow technical and product teams, further develop prototype pilots for launch partners, and accelerate ecosystem development through grants channeled by the dCommerce DAO. Boson Protocol is building infrastructure that connects smart contracts with real-world commerce and data, enabling digital assets to be tied to physical items for frictionless exchange. The project is developing a working prototype that it plans to unveil in the coming months. Recent hiring will add 15 roles across Product, Operations and Technology, and the company is expanding token engineering and ecosystem development teams. Funds raised will finance these hires, continued international team expansion, and prototype development. Boson also plans a public token sale later in the year. The company is supported by industry advisors including founders and product leads from Ocean Protocol, Blockscience, Consensys, and Outlier Ventures.
