Piccolo Medical develops the SmartPICC® catheter navigation and tip location system aimed at improving catheter placement, especially for older adults with heart conditions. The company will use a $3 million Commercialization Readiness Pilot (CRP) grant from the National Institute on Aging (NIH) to advance and secure new regulatory approvals for the SmartPICC technology. Piccolo received 510(k) clearance for the SmartPICC System in 2021.
