Sigma Offshore develops a Smart Mooring System (SMS) and other mobile production solutions for oil and gas production vessels. The company also delivers extended well testing systems, floating production export system solutions, subsea solutions and project management. It has expanded operations into the United States and Norway. Sigma Offshore is targeting SMS deployments in the Gulf of Mexico, South America, West and North Africa, the North Sea, South East Asia and Australian waters. The new capital will be used to continue worldwide development of SMS and its mobile production offerings. The company previously secured £2m from Scottish Enterprise’s Scottish Venture Fund and Energy Ventures in May of the prior year.
