Founded in 2022 in London by Jonny Plein, James Campbell and Adam Knight, YASO offers a turnkey technology platform that integrates payments, logistics, compliance, tax, analytics and storefront connections for brands entering China. Its OS connects directly to dominant Chinese channels such as Douyin, Tmall and RedNote, eliminating the need for local distributors or bespoke infrastructure. The company addresses the fragmentation and technical complexity of China’s online retail landscape, giving brands full data visibility and control over positioning. YASO’s 20-person team blends China market specialists, technologists and serial founders, several of whom are fluent Mandarin speakers. With China accounting for more than 50% of global e-commerce sales and projected to reach $3.5 trillion by 2030, YASO aims to capture a share of this growth.
