  • Zeek Network

    Participated · Seed · Jun 2024

Zeek is a decentralized collaboration network that uses on-chain social-bounty mechanics to generate a reputation layer for users. Its core product uses ‘Wishes’ (on-chain bounties) to surface opportunities for information, connections, and contributions. User contributions generate ‘Rizz’, a measurable reputation metric intended to be monetized and to signal credibility and influence. The product is powered by OpenSocial Protocol and the team has designed a token to foster collaboration and on-chain reputation construction. Zeek is currently in Private Beta and is preparing for an official launch in July, with pre-registration open via X and Discord. The company plans a Tier-0 Genesis NFT drop, limited to 250, later this month.

  • Mint Blockchain

    Participated · Seed · Jun 2024

Mint Blockchain provides an Ethereum L2 network tailored for the NFT industry, offering underlying infrastructure services such as NFT issuance, trading, indexing, and storage. It is built on the OP Stack and is EVM-compatible so developers in the Ethereum ecosystem can extend projects to the Mint network. The network was jointly launched by NFTScan Labs and the MintCore developer team and its mainnet launched in May 2024. Mint is designed with NFT assets and holders in mind and supports one-stop services for Web3 developers. The company reports more than 400,000 active users worldwide and support for 80+ applications. It intends to use new capital to fuel global market brand building and further NFT infrastructure development.

  • Open Social

    Participated · Seed · May 2024

OpenSocial Protocol provides open-source, modular social infrastructure and tooling (feed, chatrooms, posts, on-chain social graphs, tribes, megaphones and plug-ins such as token issuance, DAO tools, bounties and mini-games) to let creators and communities compose apps quickly and economically. The stack supports both on-chain and off-chain features and emphasizes true ownership of intellectual property, community relationships, and aligned monetization. The project is built by Everest Ventures Group and aims to deploy its infrastructure across major chains while offering a customizable UI layer for creators, moderators, and users. Early product traction includes SoMon, the first app on the protocol, which reached over 30,000 onchain active users in two weeks, ~20 minutes average engagement, and over 300,000 onchain transactions (excluding spam bots). EVG has deployed ~80 developers to develop the infrastructure and OpenSocial aims to help empower and launch 1,000 community apps by 2025. Financially, OpenSocial has raised a total of $26 million to date (a prior $5 million seed round plus $15 million in ecosystem funds, and the new $6 million strategic backing). OpenSocial Protocol is a composable infrastructure layer for building social applications that enables developers and creators to build multichain SocialFi dApps. It provides UI-layer composabilities, ownership of intellectual property and relationships, and monetisation and financial incentives for communities. The protocol has launched its first dApp, SoMon, a decentralized topic-based forum owned by users and communities with degen mechanics and sustainable rewards. Everest Ventures Group (EVG) founded OpenSocial and has set aside a $15M ecosystem fund to support developer adoption; there are 50 additional developers building dApps on OpenSocial outside of EVG. The company says it will use the new funding to expand operations and development efforts. OpenSocial aims to improve community dApps through composable infrastructure and UI-layer building blocks.

  • Vybe Network

    Participated · Series A · Jun 2022

Vybe Network provides data infrastructure that enables live and historical on-chain data to be queried and analyzed for the Solana ecosystem. The company supports teams building DeFi and Web3 dApps by supplying permissionless, transparent data and tools for extracting meaningful insights and metrics. Led by CEO Arun Dass, Vybe helps build user-friendly and accessible applications that allow anyone to access and benefit from on-chain data. The company says it will use the new funding to decentralize data access and storage so any user can participate, monetize, and share their data. Vybe aims to power innovative dApps and provide insights into favored Solana protocols. It raised $10.5M in a Series A to advance these goals.

  • Swim

    Participated · Seed · Mar 2022

Swim Protocol builds a multi-chain AMM bridge that lets users swap native assets directly between supported chains, removing the need for wrapped tokens. The protocol initially supports assets on Ethereum, BNB Chain, and Solana and plans to add Polygon, Terra, and Avalanche. Swim intends to launch pools for native stablecoins and expand integrations with other DeFi protocols to grow its network. The team announced an Alpha launch and plans to roll out additional pools, broader cross-chain asset support, and a $SWIM governance token. Swim will use new funding to accelerate go-to-market efforts—marketing, community management, and branding—and to hire engineers to advance product milestones. The company says its team includes personnel from Alameda, FTX, Cosmos, Coinbase Ventures, and Google.
